Claims to be Microsoft and included an invoice for Windows Defender for $499 (minus a $100 undefined discount).  Close reading of the email sender address shows 'Microsoft' slightly misspelled, incorrect and inconsistent capitalization, fictitious time (Coordinated Universal Time) deadline, non US style date format, and a template that never would have made it past the company lawyers.

The phone number is to be called to dispute the order.  Came to me as an email.  In my case, the email address was mine but the addressee and presumably the person who made the order is my deceased wife.

Don't call this number it's a scam, they want to log on to your system remotely to try and cancel the order and I presume get access.

Received email today regarding an "order". Was able to point out various errors indicating, to me, it's a scam.

I got an email too.  It was the same as you stated except my price was $399.99.  I am not calling this number.

Also came to me via e-mail. Claiming to be the verification of having purchased Microsoft Defender for $399. I looked here to verify that it is a definite scam.
