My daughter got a call from this number on her cell phone.

Call comes in from "Out of Area" with caller name of "Out of Area" But message left talks about this call not being a telephone solicitation, and that there is an important message for a person at the residence called, and then leaves this number to call back with a reference. Have gotten FREQUENT calls from this for the past few weeks.

i went on vacation for a few weeks and when i came back i found i had 16 new messages all from "ARC in Victoria"

the thing is these all came in between 2 and 5 AM!!! i am calling now. took 3 calls to get something other than "not available in your calling area"

i got through and its a canadian gov' used collection agency.  MSP ambulance etc.

I got a call from this number today. A guy named Mike Olick left a message telling me to call back and gave me an extension number and a file number. I returned the call and the extension number did not work. Very odd.

It  looks like  scam . The guy  introduced  as Dan   requested   my date of  birth   and  i  refused    telling  him  I'll call back.  He  gave me  a  number of   case.  Be  aware   of  them  !!!

888-821-3690 would ONLY be calling to collect delinquent MSP or\and BC Ambulance bills.

Came home from vacation to find they called approximately 12 times. When we phoned them back, we got a hold of a guy right away.  We told him we'd received NUMEROUS calls from them and had no idea what it was regarding.  The gentlemen determined they were trying to reach somebody who no longer lived at this number.  We asked him to remove us from their list because they phoned us WAY too much.  His response was: "relax, [***]".

Don't know where they got my number, but keep calling me even the name is not match, but only the birthday is just match by chance! And really impolite, why people still like to work in that kind of company?! And what's bad work quality!

called multiple times and I when called back heard recorded message about inserting conference number to join conference call with no affiliation to any company... made no sense at all ... ignore these people

It's simple: if it's not you they are calling for, tell them that...if it is you they're calling for, then be cooperative and they will be completely civil. If you owe a bill, pay the damn thing...so easy. Figure it out people, bills are a part of life!!

My fiance received a call like this today... We have never received a medical bill from msp before... it doesn't make sense, my fiance would pay something if we had received a bill... and if its a wrong number thats really odd because my fiance has had this number for years...

Got a message from them, called back to the number given, which was 888-821-3690. They were looking for someone who didn't live hear.  The woman I spoke to was very polite and said she'd remove the number from the database.

Yes people! This is 100% MSP collections for unpaid
medical insurance.
Why is BC the only province that has to pay it.
Why can't it be like auto insurance? Renewed on a yearly basis?
If you don't want it, don't renew it.
But instead, msp just keeps billing you month after month and
never sends a statement! Only collections agency phone calls.

All points are fair, but bottom line is, you do have to pay, so whether or not you disagree with the bill, it is still considered owed!!!

To COLLECTOR; I hope you end up on a list one day; be it a mistake; then you
will understand what others have to deal with. How dare you assume that everyone
who is on the list is a genuine non pay account; and what about people who are
wrongly liabled.

There needs to be some "reigning in" of sorts for your industry type. The tactics you
use are shameful and I'm sure against the law.
