Left a message that I am being served documents at my work place or home.  Called this number and it seems it is a call center representing different companies.

Called and left a message with my supervisor (couldn't pronounce my last name correctly throughout the call) and asked for the protocol on how formal claims can be done with my company.  That there are allogations against me and I have only one opportunity to get this matter resolved.  The callers name was Becca Fox and she said that an order was submitted to her office this morning and referenced a claim#.  No company name given for where she was calling from.  She said at the end, Amy....you have officially been notified and hung up.  

Hi Grace!  I received the same call this afternoon.  When you called it back, was it for something that really was concerning or did it just seem like a telemarketer?

They called my work this morning wanting to talk to my supervisor, when I transfered the call they told my supervisor they wanted to serve me with papers here at work for a debt that they are a private collector. They asked my supervisor for my home address so they wouldn't embarrass me at work! Thank goodness my supervisor did not give the information out. I called the phone number they said they are BOR in Atlanta, Georgia and wanted to know how I got their number and that it was a private phone number. Called back again and they said they are BLR. this is crazy!!!!

i go on this site a lot to see how many scumbags there are. these people are doing there jobs if you people paid your bills they would not be calling you think about it

working for a living - just so you know, not all of these calls are legitimate.  I got one of these strange calls last year and they claimed I owed money and were going to serve me.  I did my due diligence only to find out that everything was a scam company trying to scare me into paying them for money I DID NOT OWE!  When I called the company back and asked for a full company name, mailing address and fax number they got defensive said there were not required to provide that to me.  When I asked for a debt validation letter they sent me a generic letter.  Told them I needed evidence of the debt, and I was told to call another number (which was associated with them) but that number couldn't provide anything either.  After going round and round with them, I told them I was notifying the Texas Attorney General's office and they immediately quit harassing me.  Yes, there are times that good people fall into money trouble but don't always jump to a conclusion that the caller is legit.   As far as this caller 888-821-5632, I got a call from them too, and I will be doing my due diligence again before speaking with anyone because I don't have any outstanding late debt.
