These idiots keep calling threatening to serve legal court documents at my home or my work by five o'clock. I called back the number the first time they did it and left a message and said I was going to seek legal help against them. Some woman called me back and got all pissy and hung up. Then I called back and said no longer working number

ID themselves as RMA.  Guy I talked to wouldn't give me any more information.  Something called "RMA" has a history on 800notes.  Basically they go around pretending to be associated with some local court or another.  Make threats.   Could stand for Receivables Management Associates but no one knows where they are located.  Ignore and block any calls from this group.

They are located in New Jersey and identified as RMA a woman stated, then wouldn't give me anymore information. She got really rude and hung up

Got a call from this number today, came up as a "Private Number" on caller ID. Left a message said her name was "Samantha Height" and she was a private courier and would be serving me tomorrow at my home or place of business unless I called in the case number for a stop order. First of all, I don't owe any body anything and second of all, no LEGITIMATE company is going to give you  a warning that they are going to serve you papers. This is ridiculous. Called the number and it doesn't give a name, press zero and all it does is play on hold music. They need to stop harassing innocent people.

If there was an actual claim, you would not be warned. They are making an ILLEGAL threat - give  your state attorney general a call.

I got a call yesterday threating to show up at my home or place of employment unless I asked for a stop order called 888-821-9007 the women who answered was obviously the same women who called me saying she was the private courier. I asked her what she wanted she said she needed my social security number to give out that information. I told her no and she stated well then I need to wait to be served with papers then call back, I said so the papers your serving me with aren't going to have any information on them she said no just her company info and to call them back and verify my social security number then she can tell me who is pursuing legal action. I just told her that made no sense and hung up.

That is correct MJG, if it was an actual claim, you would never be "warned". Called me again this morning, same woman from a private number again saying she did not receive a stop order so would be to my home or business and that "I have been warned". I'm not calling these people, it's a scam of some sort, especially if they want your social security number. A few years ago I was getting a few of these calls as well. Finally changed my phone number to get rid of them. Apparently they're trolling again.

Vicki Brown called me saying they will be by to serve me. Funny when you can hear the call center in the background. Why be a private number if it's legit. Good luck at my place of employment since I don't work.

This place has been calling me for around 3 or 4 years threatening to deliver court papers to me and I haven't seen them yet. When I spoke with them I wouldn't give them SSN or anything, but I told them that they must NOT be looking for me, cause I've lived at the same address for 18 years and have worked at the same place for 15 years. This is 2017...you'd think they would have GPS to find the address.

They keep calling me threating to serve me with papers. "Vicki Brown, private courier". Comes from a private number which I don't answer, so she has left voicemails stating she will deliver places to my residence and place of employment. I doubt that, but whatever. I am not calling back as it seems to be a scam.

It is a scam.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you he or she is coming by.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

They called me 2 days a go
They left a message saying that they were going to serve me some papers, the lady said she was going to go to my job or my house to deliver those documents, if I didn't called them back to the 888 number, she even said she was going to talk to my HR, to be witness when she serve me those papers.
