the man said his name was agent james maxwell and i needed to contact him and that he was with the claims bureau..... i called back and i spoke with a woman and i asked who i was calling and she said the lottery commission...  this man has still not called me back .....then i get a call today from a woman who stated i won $350,000 but i needed to pay the taxes first and would have an official check delivered tomorrow to my front door.....go figure.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  will see if i do not pay if they still deliver and then take the taxes......

i'll come back later i didn't realize the time. i must go.

Received call 10.07.09 3:45 PM from "John Buchannan" stating that I had won
2nd prize in Publisher's Clearing House drawing -- $285,000.  I asked for his name and number 1-888-325-8698. I queried where he was calling from and he responded that he was with the Lottery and Sweepstakes Claims Bureau in Washington DC.  I asked where in DC since that is my birthplace.  He said in NW Washington.  I told him I would call him back when my husband returned home.  At 4:15PM i rang the above number and "Susan" advised that John was on another call and he would call me back.  I called 411 for DC
and learned that there is a Lottery, Charity, and Gaming organization listed at 2000 14th St. NW -- hours are 8:30 to 4:30.

Received a message on my phone telling me I had won $1.5 million and to call 888-825-8698.
When I returned the call a woman answered and said that office was closed.  Several days later,
10/13/09, received a call from "out of the area" - no number.  I answered and no one was there.
The phone rang again and he asked why I hung up.  He proceeded to tell me I had won 1.5$ from
the U.S. Govt. and said he was general manager Francis E. Banks.  He wanted to know the name of
my bank and I said I don't give out that info and this is a scam.  He went on and on and someone
would deliver the cashier check to my home in two or three hours.  They would pay 95% of taxes and
I asked who paid the other 5%.  He said you'll need to go to Western Union and send $350.  I said
thanks, I'm not interested, and hung up.  He called me right back and asked me why I hung up.  I
said if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.  He told me two people would be at
my house within 2-3 hours.  Three hours have passed, and I plan to call 911 if they appear, which
I'm sure they won't.  I've already alerted the police.

Well, supposedly won $244,000 from Publishers clearing House.  want me to send $1085 for taxes to Jessica Moore - I THINK NOT!

I'm a Police detective in NJ, Its all a SCAM! Please contact your local authorities they are victimizing people especially the elderly.

these people called me Friday a James Maxwell and said i won 285,000 dollars and it will be sent to me by 2 officers and will follow me 2 my bank and said the taxes were already taken  out and said he would call me back with the details and he did and said how sorry he was that he forgot to mention Ins. fees of 2000.00 dollars i told him i dont have that money and then said it will be delivered tuesday Jan. 19 2010 i have called him back 3 times today and either he is on the phone or in a meeting he can bring me the check and once i cash the it i will give them the 2000 then
