A man called and left a strange message on my cell named Eric Revering.  A week later he called and left a message with a family friend who lives hundreds of miles away and is in no way related to me!  What does this pertain to?

This guy is an [***].  He is a bill collector.  He has been calling me regarding a debt of my father's who is deceased.  He called multiple relatives of mine also, and even began calling my neighbors and asking them to deliver messages to me.

Appears to be a collection agency called Central Portfolio Control

Called me regarding a bill from a hospital I have never been to. Threatened to garnish my wages. Her name was Lisa Phillips. Have no idea where she got information.

Called my job! Asked to speak to me once I got the phone call I could hear the call fading like if it was a scam.. 2 seconds after I hung up called me on my cell. How did they get my work number?! Can we get them to stop calling

Called and asked for my mother; when I asked what about was told it was personal and they hung up on me.

If they call from that number why are you posting in this thread?

they are asked to clarify personal information - address, ssn, date of birth. the naivety of these callers is surprising
