Got this unknown phone call today.

Got this unknown phone call today with a pre-record message of a curtecy call of some kind of service expiration...

i got a call at 7 am PST, i called back and it said " our business hours are from 8 am to 7 pm EST, so call back later" God knows what it is all about.  They said its "screening and selection Services"

so I called the number left on caller ID and it was regarding the  EX-WIFE attempting to use your EX Husband as a reference for employment - are you insane?  you are a fraud to your Children and to Society- you abuse all the systems and even your children as grown adults are paying for you to continue to use the system w/out them even knowing it as tax payers... you are a liar and a thief you still from the government and also SS Disability- they must finally be on to you.... no friends for references or no past employers as references? well that in itself speaks for itself.... no wonder you cant get a job ...  Past History with Jobs and Background reports speak for themselves...Stop trying to use Alias..... they are on to that also

Received a call today. This company verifies employment history.

IT IS ADP THE CHECK WRITING COMPANY FOR MANY BUSINESSES. THEY ALSO SKIP TRACE FOR PEOPLE. THEY CALLED OUR OFFICE ABOUT A CLIENT AND I HAD TO CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE GIVING ANY INFO. THEY ARE LEGIT

It's just a company that verifies previous employment.  I know because I am self employed and used MY number for contact and they called me to verify MY employment.  They didn't even realize they were calling ME to verify ME. But, I suppose they are legit.

i told them to stop calling  the same person called about 20 times and this is a business we are losing business because i have the phone ringing every other min if this company wants to pay for the loss of business then fine but otherwise STOP CALLING HERE

What remains mysterious is WHO wants to know my employment history and WHY

Had this person call me 3 times today.. all left blank messages ( about 5 seconds long .. ) .. Attempted to call back .. no pickup. So I did some digging on the internet to find out who these idiots are:

No idea why they would be calling.. sigh .. I'm on the do not call list .. but I still get annoyed by people like this.

This company calls me EVERY DAY at 6 in the morning and wakes up my whole family! Stupid people that do not realize that they are calling the west coast and we are 3 hours behind! I have made several complaints and they still keep calling!!!! Make them stop!!!!!!

As has been pointed out, it's ADP Screening and Selection Services.  They are calling to verify employment and were given your number by a former employee.  Just take the call and move on, jeez..

The company is called Core Communications. They're based in the north side of Houston, TX near IAH. They have a reputation for misleading new hires who "begin in the entry level with rapid advancement to management."

They sent me an email saying "Thank you for Applying!" Uh... I didn't apply.

From their website: "CORE Communications, Inc a privately owned sales and marketing firm that generates and acquires new accounts for larger, nationally recognized companies."

Looks like now it's a debt collection agency called McCarthy, Burgess, and Wolff.

I could barely hear the person who left a voicemail on my cell phone, but I called back to have my number removed since I'm not an employer, and they immediately tell me they're actually with a collection agency in regards to an account for some guy who lives on the other side of the country! I don't know of this person, I've never heard of them, and I haven't ever visited the west coast! But the agent I talked to didn't believe me, told me I was just lying and that if I didn't pay $8000 by this Friday they would have me taken to jail. I've filed complaints with several different agencies and have asked tmobile to block the number from my phone.

I have been getting calls from 818 960 0109 (caller ID) which is an automated message regarding a home modification and requesting/asking you to leave your information on their system.  If you are not reached when they call they leave a message providing the of 888 832 6794 wherein you can get in talk to a live person.  They called themselves "Global Crisis Solutions."  From my search I have can determine, this company just came onto scene in June or July 2015.  It also looks like a person using and/or associated with the last name on my search is being sued or charge with fraud -- so I would not trust these people.

This number called me up today.  Didnt leave a message. Last post for this number was back in 2015 so im not sure who this company is now...an employment verification co...or a collection agency...or just somebody else equally annoying.
