I have now had three of my clients fall pray to this BS... On lost 500 dollars.  They extorted him by having him go buy 500 worth of iTunes cards and then reading the numbers them over the phone... After the last number they hung up on him, then used the program that they had him download on his computer to scramble his system with Adware and spyware. Guy said his name was John. Had my client file a police report.

Same MO as others. She claimed to be from Microsoft Windows. Thick Indian accent of course. I asked for their phone # where I could return a call , she said 888-841-2933 I then asked her name her name, she said Jessica. I then said I wanted that information because I was going to report them to the FCC, then hung up!      [***]! I then immediately ran a malware program and I was OK!

Caller stated my computer was hacked for $500.00 he would give a license from Microsoft to undo all damage. Stated he was from Microsoft
