- BrianThe caller from this number 1-757-563-4546 (1-888-841-4324 return call to) informed me, that I was being charged with attempt to defraud a finacial institution. The man I spoke to seemed understanding and helpful until I started asking questions after he told me the information he had to verify my identiy:
First & last name
DL #
Address
Phone number AND
Checking account #
All the info. He said was my correct info (which started to worry me, wondering how he got it). Before rudely cutting me off & hanging up on me, he said he was investigating an on-line pay-day loan, for which I did not actually receive. He also told me his company verified with my bank the deposite and two payments. After checking with my bank, as I thought, NO deposits to my account other than my paychecks, tax retuns or cash deposits made by me at my branch. I have reported to the FBI.- Caller: CRS Investigations
- TeresaReceived a phone call from the same number with the same information to return the call. Gave me a case number to refer to when returning the call. I did try to call back and see who it was but was given an unidentifiable voicemail box to leave a message in. Thanks for reporting this.
- Caller: CRA
- TM| 1 replyI received a phone call at work from the same number. He said his name is Mr. Glocker from the office of CRA. Gave me a case number and stated that is was urgent that I contact him. I called the number and a recording came on that stated to wait for the next available representative. They never came back on the line. Is the a SCAM or what?

- Mrs. BI just received the same phone call at work. I looked in my bank account and there was nothing deposited when Mr. Glocker reports. Mr. Glocker asked me to fax a copy of my bank statement to prove that nothing was deposited, and he gave me a fax number. He was threatening. It worried me. What is my next step?

- LisaThis number 757.563.4546 is calling my work as well saying that I defrauded a financial institution. Gave his name as Mr. Glocker and was very rude and belligerant with teh folks who answered the phone. I have reported them to the FTC and the State's Attorney Genreal's Office. Both told me they will have your informatin if you shop online and have ever had a payday loan.

- Tom| 1 replyCRA is a debt collector. I know first hand. I have dealt with them for the last two years on three different payday loans that I had gotten in bad times in my life. I had dealt with Mr. Glocker and made payment arrangements with him on all three. I am not proud of owing those but I have to say he was nothing but professional.

- C SpooI got a voicemail message from Mr. Glocker telling me that there is a serious matter I need to call him ASAP. The call came form 727-563-4548. He gave me a case number and call back # 888-841-3295. He sounded serious and it got my anxieties going but glad I checked here and seen it was a scam. Some people!
- PissedJust got a call from this supposed CRA company, the first voicemail said it was officer Glocker from CRA and to return his urgent phone call. Upon returning his "urgent phone call," we discovered that he was not an officer, then asked a few questions he began making disparaging remarks, and hung up the phone. Within five minutes Mr. Parker called back making threatening comments about how he was going to contact the county, then again hung up the phone. Upon a final phone call into the "company" we were threatend again, screamed at, and not allowed to get in a word. If this was a true business, I am confident they would not operate as they have. This is 100% scam. We made contact with our attourneys office and have been advised to not be in contact with this company, as they were reported to several agencies investigating their fraudulance. DO NOT ANSWER OR RETURN PHONE CALLS!

- MikeHuntletonWarning! This is a Purchase / Subscription / Refund Tech Support Scam !
This is a typical refund scam. No company EVER charges someone, then contacts you to cancel/refund it. The message is to scare you into calling and they will pretend to give you a refund, but it is just a trick to get access to your computer."...are you in front of the computer ?..." ONLY scammers ask this!
Scammers want to connect to your computer with remote access, asking you to download it and give them access. They will lie and say it is a "secure server" or similar to gain your trust in letting them on your computer. They will say you need to fill out an online refund form, then ask you to log into your bank. They pretend to give you the refund, but more than the amount stated. Then they manipulate the HTML to make it seem as if they over paid the amount and want you to reimburse it back by getting gift cards. No money is ever really transferred, but they act as if it was.
Banks transfer money bank to bank direct and never involve a person's personal computer! No business would ever ask you to go get Gift Cards as a payment method and ask you to stay on the phone the whole time. ONLY SCAMMERS DO THAT!!
Only a Scammer would want Remote Access to give a Refund.
Never allow anyone Remote Access unless you know them to be reputable and you contacted them first! Scammers can lock you out and hold your computer ransom by changing your username password or with Syskey (Microsoft SAM Lock Tool).
Help spread the word and prevent someone from becoming a victim.
Fact:- ANYONE who calls or emails you and says you have been charged for something, offering a refund is a SCAMMER.
- ANYONE who calls or emails you and says your computer called/contacted them is a SCAMMER.
- ANYONE who calls or emails you and says your online server called/contacted them is a SCAMMER.
- Windows Operating System licenses do not expire.
- ANYONE who calls or emails you with a message about your computer having illegal activity, is a SCAMMER.
- Apple will never, ever call you about alleged suspicious iCloud activity.
- Microsoft error and warning messages never include phone numbers. ANY Tech Support Warning pop-ups you get while accessing the internet asking you to call a number or visit a website, is from a SCAMMER.
- Web Browsers DO NOT have the ability to determine and warn you your computer has an error. They can only warn you about a potential malicious website. A Browser is software that allows you to surf the Internet, not diagnose a computer or phone.
- ANY Tech Support company that insists you need their services because of some error, outdated software or tries to convince you that you need to allow them remote access is a SCAMMER.
- Nobody could possibly know if your computer or devices have an issue unless you tell them or gave them access.
- Tech Support companies DO NOT call or email to give out refunds because they are "going out of business", or to "cancel a subscription". Companies DO NOT give refunds unless they have to.
- Companies DO NOT call to inform you that your subscription will be charged if you don't call back, only SCAMMERS do that. If you have a subscription with someone, they automatically charge you until you cancel it and they don't give a refund.
- Only a Scammer would want Remote Access to give a Refund.
- 3rd party Tech services DO NOT include Email account repairing or password resetting, since they can not access the email server unless it belongs to them.
- ONLY scammers ask for gift cards and NOBODY would ask you to go to the store while remaining on the phone while you do.
Please read about how Tech Support Scammers operate the scams and warn everyone possible about them.

Never trust a caller who wants to "help your computer" for any reason (unless you contacted them first), as they are only going to scam you. If you need Tech Support, you should contact a reputable local service.
