I found the number registered as a FACEBOOK CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER, called them and I was connected to an Indian call center located in Ohio supposedly, I was having problems with my fb account so I engage in a conversation with this “agent” but the whole thing was sketchy, he kept saying he work for FACEBOOK but in order to help me he needed information about my account (reasonable) and the security against hackers on my phone that was using (iPhone X) I hang up... also I could barely hear him cuz it was so loud, you could hear thousand ppl talking at once in the background

This # was called because they were having problems with Facebook. They scammed her into getting iTunes cards and giving them the number to redeem them. They kept telling her she will get 1400 back. She kept saying no I just want to get into my fb. They told her in order for her to do that she needed to buy several $100 itunes cards that would be refundable. She did what they said. All the meanwhile they got her information & money. They just kept telling her the cards would verify her and her account was severely hacked and they had to go through all these steps to clean her account up, but in order to do it they needed these cards.

Similar experience to others, only I clicked a fake site claiming to be Facebook support. They wanted some information then wanted me to but iTunes card to "verify my identity". I called back from a different number a couple of times and they answered with Amazon and also I think Gmail.  Total scammers I hope karma treats them horribly.

I also found the number registered as a FACEBOOK CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER when i was having recent issues with getting a facebook money transfer refund.  Was very loud background noise of Indian people answering calls.  Dead giveaway was when the fool was unable to pull up my facebook info and records but kept asking me questions.  Said my account was being hacked and the hackers were in Dallas.   Only way to get my refund was to give him my 16 digit debit card account.  Could almost smell the stinch over the phone (nasty [***]).  No can't do.

So, my first question is why are you people looking for Facebook Customer Support anywhere but on the actual Facebook website?
