They have been calling my cell phone number harrassing me back to back

Same here.  They were looking for a gina matelle (I think that's the spelling).  Left a voicemail from a phone number that came up as restricted.  The msg left the 888-848-3757 to call back and said mrs gina matelle, you have been officially notified and gave some reference number.

I don't answer phone numbers I don't recognize.  Ever.  

I have no idea who this gina matelle is but the msg sounded a little odd in the manner it was handled.  If they have all the information against gina as they claim then they already have all other information I would expect as well.  Needing her address and place of employment?  Very strange voicemail.

They just started calling me and familyand friends.. Even people I dont talk to anymore... LMFAO   Said I had process papers to serve me and a claim number last 3 are 004.... Lil desperate I think...  Called from 888-848-3757 name was Thomas F.   Sounded like wanting to serve papers for being sued or something

This is a commonly utilize scam to suck people out of money for most likely debts you do not owe. If you have ever applied for a loan, payday loan, etc. online, even if you didn't get the money, these scums have gotten a hold of your information. They will call and call, harass you, contact your family and friends and tell them you are going to jail. Don't believe a word. Don't answer the call or if you do answer it, don't say anything until they hang up. Better yet, buy a strong whistle or blowhorn to greet them when they call. You can find more information about this fraud ring by searching for "ACS Scam" although they may use several different fake names. They will even troll these sites and post that this is a valid debt and that you should pay it. Don't believe it for a second. And yes you scumbag scam artists if you are reading this, I hope you get what is coming to you.

I called them back today and they are asking about a valid debt that I do owe from a couple years back... What do I do to verify this information they are saying to me, I would like to do this without bringing up old skeletons out the closet as of right now I am inbetween employment and really can't afford it right now.. They didnt threaten me any way just wanted to set up a payment plan bi weekly ...

I called EZ payday loans and im gonna have to call them back tomorrow to figure out who they sold my debt to... Ill keep everyone updated on my final outcome and updates
