This was a call from My PC Backup. They were calling about an open invoice. Not spam, but it was a service that I had cancelled.

if it is for my PC Backup, I cancelled this service almost 2 months ago. they are calling every day at the same time, but im at work so i cant answer it. they are begining to get harrassing and over done. not to mention they leave voicemails with nothing on them.. just breathing and background noise. very creepy.

I cancelled my service with MyPCBackUp.com more than two months ago. I do not think it is right or befitting of them to continuously call at the same time everyday.

yes, the is for mu pc back-up. I just cancelled them a few days ago and they're calling to give me a deal to sign up again.

keep getting calls from 888-851-0954 do not need anything from them so they can stop the calls

in mid-February.  Get calls stating "we are taking care of your pc".  Went with another vendor that does
not call me!

About a year ago I had some work done on my PC and they charged me over $500.00 to fix it.  Then I received a call telling me that I had been over charged.  I called my credit card company and when I started to tell the story they told me not to go any further they knew the company and credited me for the charges.  Since then I received at least 5 calls a week from them At first I told them I don't have that PC anylonger don't call me again but they continue.  So now I have put a block on my phone but I am still getting calls and they use a different number every time.  I wish they could be stopped they are crooks.

Cancelled this service and got a new bank card due to automatic pmts==they called and asked for balance due on acct when acct was closed 2 months ago

I am not sure who it is calling. I did cancel Pc back up long ago. They did call me a few wks ago and I told them I did not want their service and had to tell them this more then one time on that call. Since then this is a number that is calling over and over several times a wk and no one is there when I ans even on the first ring. Today some one was singing dont ans g. when I picked up then nothing

Charge for  $118.80 on my credit card.  I have my own back up system on my Mac computer and did not order this.  They said they would credit my card with the amount.  I will be watching for their charge again!!

Identity thieves, con men and bill collectors alike buy and sell your personal information. If they get nowhere with you, they will sell your information to some other thief. Don't ever give out or "confirm" ANY information over the telephone. When someone tells you that you must "confirm" your name, make them say it first. Don't let them tell you anything different. The same goes for your address. If they won't do this, they're thieves. Thieves often pretend to be a legitimate collection agency, business or organization.

Never agree to anything which makes you pay money first. Never turn over control of your computer to anyone. Never push buttons or leave messages. Never believe anyone who threatens you with arrest. NEVER give out card numbers or check routing and account numbers. Always use money orders. Don't mail payments to PO boxes. Legitimate people aren't afraid to provide an office address.

Thieves and con men are aware of this website. They have been posting here (800notes) to create confusion. They  usually tell stories about how hard it was to get rid of them, how they were threatened, or tell of different things that they say worked. Good businesses don't do this.  Don't bother to threaten thieves, they think it's funny.

You can help your entire community by doing what I did. Contact your local TV station and tell them about this website, so that they can share it with their viewers and help stop thievery.

Refund all money to my account  asap I only asked for $1.00 you took that plus $44.90 from my account w/out my authority I have contacted fraud department my bank I will  call the attorney general in ct if I have to Maria Camille hill

Kind of wondering why you're complaining on this site, they (the one you're bitching about) will never see your message!

Pesty, they call at all hours. Whatever they are selling I don't want it, the one time I made the mistake to pick up the phone the person barely spoke English. I tried to block them without success.  We let the voice mail pick it up and 99% of the time they do not leave a message. When they will not identify themselves there is a reason..... Wish I knew how these scammers get our unlisted number.

I canceled my PC backup. Now they call twice today did not leave a message. I don't need them anymore. I don't know why they are calling.
