same.  no message, 1st time calling me.  now recorded  in the bad books :(

"800 Service" <8888513044>  called my business line (519 area code) a couple times today.   As usual, when faced with a phone system with a greeting / menu system, they bale on the call after a few seconds.  I called the number back and recording (a women with a southern US accent) says something like "thank you for your interest in fixing your listing.  Your number will be taken off our list".  I am now blocking (through our voip.ms account portal) all numbers starting with 888-851-XXXX.

Got a call from this number, it was the usual scam phone call; "This is an important... blah blah blah", immediately hung up

No message. Called it back and got recording that our business info was corrected or something along the line that since I called back that I had agreed to it. No message was left and no I’d to caller when I called back. I really don’t know what I have agreed to!

Got a call from this number. I answered b/c I thought it was a client (otherwise I don't answer unknown numbers). As soon as I answered, the call blipped over to a new call from V83012265000148. This time I didn't answer. It rang and rang and didn't go to my voice mail. Strange. I'll avoid both numbers from now on.

Dead air on the line. I am sure the scammers will be calling again now that a real person answered the phone once.

Business Line. Caller ID read "Toll Free Serv. I answered and a recording immediately told me not to hang up, and that there was a problem with my listing. I pressed '1' and when a real person answered, I blew a whistle into the phone and told her to Never call this number again. As I was saying this, she rudely just kept talking over me as if I wasn't saying anything.

This is the typical scam call from Google, saying that our listing wasn't appearing properly and wouldn't again unless the number 1 was pressed to correct it.  I hung up, retrieved the number from the call display, and, before calling the number back, came here to see what I could find out.  I'm glad I did before I called out, because it would seem that a few others from the earlier comments may have accidentally agreed to something by doing so.  I will resist the urge to attempt to deafen somebody else's eardrums on the other end of the line.
