did you happen to find out who the company was/is?

They called my work today saying that I had to pay $1000.00 in total from a credit card back in 2006 that wasn't paid. They were willing to get $500.00 today so they don't press charges and they said that if I didn't pay, they will send me to court and the judge will allow them to take 20% of my pay check every week until the $1000.00 are paid. I spoke with a Mr.Smiley and he said that he was an attorney. Can someone tell me if this is a real company?

Yes they are real I'm currently getting garnished 25% of my wages from me thinking it was a scam so take advantage of the settlement
