Received two calls from this number It is collection from KCI  which handles medical activac from 6 yrs ago.

KCI is not a collection agency.  It is a company that provides medical equipment, as my husband had a wound vac from KCI. (it helps heal wounds in diabetics) Maybe they have a collection unit inside of KCI that calls for debts that have not been paid.

KCI makes and rents wound vacs.  They help wounds heal.  They also don't act like any medical related billing that I've ever seen.  They don't send out paper bills unless you request them.  They go immediately to calling you.  It's a bizarre business practice that they will not show you a bill with your charge itemized so you can actually see the amount they are charging and why unless you ask for them to send you a bill.

I had the exact same experience with KCI. I have had 2 wound vacs since September. In early March, I received a call regarding a past due balance. I have never received a billing so my assumption was that, since I had met my out of pocket max, they were paid in full. They said, "Oh, I see now that we didn't bill you. Your insurance didn't cover $xxx.xx of your bill. How would you like to take care of this today?" My response was that things don't work that way. I would pay nothing until I saw a bill and compared it to the insurance companies EOB. Then I would make payment. Now they just call daily. I still haven't received a bill.

Receiving multiple calls from 866-861-672 asking me to call back 888-861-6572. Claim to be KCI and had account number.  They stated  they needed more information (DOB) before they could release the amount of the bill.  I requested that they send the bill to the address previously used by them.   After several weeks, never received a paper bill in the mail, but continued to receive multiple calls. In attempt to end the harassing phone calls, spent an hour on phone (888-861-6572) asking that a bill be sent, but they kept asking for a credit card number, but would not state the amount to be charged.    We finally called  KCI directly at their listed number on the web and they stated no balance was due.. Is this a fraud? The phone number is probably being spoofed.  Consumers beware!! Especially since they have patient information including name and account number.
