- Diane| 3 repliesThey say they are Links Salutions..They call and say they can lower your interest rates and then they tell you to pay 900 dallors..by this time they have all your information... This is a scam....they are frauds.
if you gave them any information call that card and get it cancelled right away.. - stephaniethey called and sounded so professional...i asked name of company and they said it was card services just like who we send our credit card bill too. My cost was going to be $1145.00 and was going to save me $5,000 in lower rates...they actually said they got on line with my credit card company and we had a 3 party conversation (after I gave all my info on phone) I started to feel very funny and told them I decided to cancel the whole thing while i was still on phone...they got very rude and transferred me to a supervisor who also told me i couldn't cancel. i told them i was canceling and they said they would take me to collections and hung up@!! when i called back the 3 numbers they gave me...one just put me on hold forever and the other two were business names: green care and link solutions...it is a huge scam! Boy did i learn a lesson...I have now had to cancel both of my credit cards and get new cards re=issued!

- CC| 1 replySame thing happened to my mom yesterday. I'm away from my house this summer and I take care of the credit card stuff so they called her saying that she had contacted them before and they sounded so professional and they said they could lower her interest rates by 2% more. She fell for it and I guess it happens, but we canceled the cards right away and the credit card companies were so nice to cancel all unauthorized charges because they charged like $1,000 right away. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission and reported them. I hope something is done because it scams innocent people just trying to manage their debt and stay afloat.

- JimToday I found out my mom was scammed by these same people, after I looked them up!
Same exact senario as above people. She is a senior citizen, and they bullied her into giving all her security code info, and told her she could not change her mind, and told her she had to say yes to these charges. They also said they were from her credit card co. Very rude, kept transferring her to 2 other people, and got her all rattled. I will also contact BBB, and Consumer protection agency in NJ
Also use tel. #'s of 888-577-7963 and 888-779-8323- Caller: Link Solutions
- Angela| 1 replySame thing happend to my mom. the people did the exact same thing so i even talked to them they wouldnt listen at all we were hung up a few time. so my mom called the bank and got a number for fraud and she had to call back link soloution to get some information and she tried all three different options to talk to someone and the blocked her number so she was never able to talk to them.[***]!!!!!!!
- angela replies to Angelawe also asked to speak to a boss or supervisor and they wouldnt even let us talk to them because it wasnt "important" and they would just tell us the same thing so there was no reason for us to talk to them
- KathyThe same thing happened to me here in California. They told me that I had approved it on tape and that it couldn;t be reversed. After several phone calls when nothing happened on my account, I was told that I would have to get approval from a supervisor for a refund - but that call would be coming at a later date. I talked to an individual named Cindy and after telling me there were no supervisors around, she miraculously found that the supervisor had already signed off on the refund and that it would take 2-3 weeks.
Last Monday I called again back after findig out that mothing happened on my account. Supposedly I am supposed to get a phone call from a supervisor tomorrow -- if I don;t i will be on the phone to them. They charged $983 to my Visa account. The address they gave me was 616 Corporate Way, Valley College, N.Y. The number that I called seveal times was 888-779-8323. I didn;t want to do it in the first place and when I said no, they sent me to several other people. Everyone I talked to was vey proessional at first and then became more verbal as I asked questions or was not comfortable with the situation.
If there is a lawsuit -- please give me the particulars -- I can;t even find them on the Internet or throught their phone numbers. I did, however, see the Corporate Way address on Google earth.- Caller: Greencare Link Solutions or Greencare Reputations
- Kathy replies to Matt BishopThe information that I got from Customer Service was 616 Corporate Way, Valley College, N.Y. I am supposed to receive a call from them tomorrow- will believe it when it comes...
- Daniel from New York| 3 repliesThe same exact thing happened to me. I feel so foolish for even buying into this. They must have some very excellent persuasion skills because I can't believe I was talked into something so obvious. I gave up all of my personal information and it just kills me inside to know I could be so stupid even though I know much better. I had my doubts the entire time, but their social engineering skills just really took advantage of me.
The ONLY thing that saved me from getting charged is my credit card company denying the charge due to an abnormal amount being charged ($1200.00) compared to what I usually charge. So when it was denied, they did the 3 way calling thing to my credit card company so that they could approve the charge. When the representative of the credit card company was telling me why is was denied and was going to transfer me to another department, I was strangely disconnected. So they reconnected the call back to the bank and we went for a round 2 to approve the charge. Same thing happened and we got disconnected. Now the 3rd time we tried, we asked to speak the same supervisor at the bank who was suppose to approve the charge or something. The only difference was that the voice has changed yet it was suppose to be the same person. At this point I just hung up the phone and started doing research on all of this.
The information I gathered from them by asking questions is the following:
