I receive 5-8 phone calls a day,  comes up with caller ID PREGRESOFIN. Never leaves a voice mail, with so many calls it must be important but doesn't leave a voice mail???? Suspicious and I have had no dealings with a company by that name.

I have answered this caller twice. Both times it was exactly the same person and exactly the same thing happened. He has a Spanish accent I am guessing because my friend has an hispanic last name after her marriage. (the Spanish accented employee calls in case there is any translation required?) ...... Is this Mrs. Xxxx Xxxx? (He knows who I am,  even though I am not involved in this matter.) I am looking for a friend of yours, Xxxx Xxxx. Do you have another phone number that I can reach HIM at? (My friend is a HER. In these calls the man repeatedly refers to her as a him probably because she has a masculine sounding first name. But, back to the call...) He has no other phone numbers? Well thank you for helping me Mrs. Xxxx. Have a good rest of your day. .....

This number keeps calling and I never pick up because I believe it is a scammer! In fact, unless I know who is calling for sure I never pick up. Be smart!!! Put these scammers out of business and never pick up unless you recognize the exact phone number of someone you know. Don't be fooled that it has the area code of someone you know or that is in your area code. Even some scammer from India can make it look like their call is in your local area code!

Since you never, ever heard of "Caller ID Spoofing" you should look it up.  That way you don't look like a total fool when you write stuff like
