I have been receiving calls on a nearly daily basis at the same time each morning. The automated message is garbled and hard to understand, but I eventually understood it so say that they are from "First Source Advantage, LLC" and that I need to call them at 1-888-872-1566 concerning the collecting of a debt. I have good credit and am not behind in things. When picking up the phone during the message, nobody is there. My gut told me to check the phone # out prior to returning their call and surprise surprise, they dont seem to 'exist'.

Keep getting phone calls for my husband at my work ##.  Called back they don't haev a record - BUT daily I get a call.  Whatsup!

Received 4 calls in the last 5 days from these people about a dept i paid off over 7 years ago. They claim i owed $2700 and they would be glad to settle for $1700. I spoke to a friend who works for a dept collection attorney and she said these people are a scam. They claim to have sent me letters and i still havent seen anything. My credit score is excellent and if i owed anyone this much money they would have sued me by now or it would have been shown as a default on my credit report. I got nasty with the guy 'Wan' today and told them do not call me back and if i actually owed them anything to sue me. These guys seem to be fishing for personal info and money.

These no english speaking haji's tracked me down on a goverment line trying to squeeze info from me, all while refusing to identify thier company name or nature of business. I knew there was something shady about this call being that its impossible to know where to reach me unless you work for the goverment. Military police were notified and are tracking these worms. They asked me for my social. I may have been born on a Wednesday, but not THIS Wednesday!  Hopfully noone reading this has given out any personal data. This is a scam.

be careful calling this # 888-872-1566. I tried calling and heard the ring which sounded like a off shore ring.  There have been in the past # like this which re-route you to one of the Caribbean Islands where they try to keep you on the phone as long as they can and then you will get a bill for hundreds of $$$ because they can charge anything they want.

I had a msg on my home phone from a woman with a thick accent saying she was calling from First Source Advantage and it is not a solicition call and it was "very important to call back" and left a ref #.
I called and asked girl who answered what kind of company it was; she asked me for a ref #; I told her first I wanted to know what kind of company it was and she said she "cannot give that information".
I called back right away and got a guy and had to ask him three times. He said it's the biggest company in the US; read off my work # off their caller ID and said they "handle major important matters". I asked what kind of matters, he says "important". I asked again then heard rustling and the previous girl got on the phone and said they are a financial holding company and they would call if I had an account with their company and demanded the ref # since my # on their caller ID didn't match their records. I just hung up.

My husband received a call from this number today.  He said the guy was hard to understand and claimed I had an outstanding debt from 2005.  First I heard of it.  He gave my husband four digits and asked if they were the last four digits of my SS#.  My husband told him he didn't know and the guy said to have me call him.  He said he was from First Source Advantage LLC at 1-888-872-1566 ext. 9781607.

Once a day I get a call from these people saying I owe National City Bank $2100 +. An Indian speaking person only identifies the company as NFC and to return their call at 888-872-1566.

Calls from First Source Advantage to collect a bill from an old account from Capital One.  The account was zeroed out in March of 2007 and we have the balance sheet.  The card has not been used in over a year.  FSA started calling me at work to collect a bill for about $1200.00 which included the "Balance" of $400.00 that was way past due plus interest charges.  They called my brother and his wife at Deere and Company in Moline, IL and said paperwork was being filed to put a lean on their home because of my "credit problems".  FSA said thay they checked my brother's credit rating and the lean was about to be applied.  Also, FSA called my nephew in Cedar Rapids, IA about my past due amounts and threatened to put a lean on his brand new home.  My privacy rights have been violated.  The FTC was notified by E-mail but I do not expect action.  I closed out the Capital one account months ago and have not received any more bills from them.  Where is First Source Advantage?  Is Capital One the parent Company.  Can I start a lawsuit?  The calling and harassment have almost caused a divorce.  They have made threats and have made my life a living hell the last two months.  The number that we had to call about our file was 888-274-6488.  I thought that they may be our East. Thank you very much.

I've been getting an automated call on my cell phone from this number for the last month or more. I dont answer it becuase it always shows as "No Called ID". It leaves a message & it's always the same recording, a woman, that says "please call us at your earliest convenience at 1-888-872-1566". And thats it, doesn't say who they are or who they are calling for. I tried calling it, and it just rang & rang, no answer. And it had a weird ring like it was going out of country. Fuzzy sounding.
