- Stacey JonesThis number has been calling acting as if they are behalf of Chase bank, trying to collect a debt. They are saying their names are Legal Mediations Group. Chase bank files have been hacked as of February 2015. When phoning Chase Bank figured out that this was not at all the situation and someone had got my information somehow and was using it to try and collect debt that doesn't exist.

- SCAM SCAM SCAM!The real name of the company is Ameripay. After some online searching and contacting my bank I found their REAL number. They are located in Frederick, MD. Called and spoke with a woman and found out the company is ran by a JR Trowbridge or Towbridge. Left several messages with her and have not received a call back. After checking my credit report I see the debt they tried to collect was not even owned by them. Let's put them out of business!! http://www.ameripaycorp.com

- Julius D.Got very aggressive call about an old (7 years) Citibank debt, threatening to sue. It is my understanding after getting a lawyers advice that the right to sue for a debt has statute of limitations of 3 years after the last transaction (like a payment or purchase. So they cannot sue. Also, any call from someone who is NOT a lawyer, and cannot follow through on their threat can be criminally liable, it is a crime. I don't have any interest in pursuing a lawsuit, but if someone is interested in starting a class action suit, go for it.
I just told him good luck, then hung up.- Caller: didn't get their name, spoke fast
