I received a call from a Lady who didn't leave her name telling me she would be at my home to serve me papers in the county I live in.   Said that if I didn't return the call I would be served papers and prosecuted.   I went ahead and called them back - BIG MISTAKE - I reached a man named Stanley Locke and he said that I owed money from a debt on a bank account with a bank that was closed many years ago.   The address he used was invalid and has been for several years - he had the last 4 of my social but he kept asking me why I thought this was not a valid debt- I told him straight up another person had called me back in March and I research the entire debt - Asked for a letter of debt validity and nothing came to pass.   I called the sheriff's office where that company was located and my local sheriff's office along with the Attorney General in both states.   After multiple calls and emails that company said they considered it closed an never called again.   My guess is they all pass around these accounts or they are all the same company.   Either way I have done all my research and I never received money from the company they are speaking of.    I was very clear that if they chose to prosecute me I would provide the name and address of the local prosecuting attorney and also the name of my attorney as she instructed me to tell them to proceed.   If they feel they have a case then they will proceed.    I will not pay this company a penny -- Beware of the phone number 855 977 2213 - I will be reporting them today to the Attorney General in Missouri -- If I can find out an address and the state they are calling from then I will report them there too.
