I recieved a phone call.  It may be legit.  It was after 9:00pm on a friday night offering a greatly reduced rate on a major credit card.  What put me in a questioning state was that instead of me qualifying (Possibly because Ialready have one from the named company, I only had to give him my bank account information and they would deposit $7,000.00 for me to do what ever I wanted.

    He knew many details about us and our present credit card info.  This may be because he is legit and from the credit card company or it is also common practice to get this information for fraud purposes.  As a PI, I know we can find people using the same info.

    He did call giving me info regarding my wife which is unusual seeing in most cases, they can only talk to the person identified on the card, not their husband.  Anyway, I told him to call back after I did some checking.

    I am going to communicate until I get a better handle on the situation.

    I cracked an internet scam and got interpol involved several years ago.  It was a bit tedious but worth it.  If anyone is interested, I would be willing to tell the story because this one has some of the same elemens, however, it may still be legitimate.  I am not going to fill in the bottom stuff below unless I find it to be a scam because I do not want to identify anyone as negative if they are not.

Called, but I did not answer. No message left on voice mail. Caller ID read "800 Service." Have been getting a lot of scam calls this month; this is probably another one.
