Got a message on my laptop on my browser with a warning and talking to me saying I should call this number a minute later my phone rings from the exact same number telling me to call back because my Microsoft Key has expired. SCAM !! Run a spyware and your virus protection to get rid of this immediately and don't call, Microsoft will never contact you.

Recorded female voice from "TOLL FREE" (no other business ID) called from 888-882-1755 to say "the computer key from your computer has expired". I could hear the answering machine from another room and just started laughing. Just another scam # to block. It gets so tiresome!

Called my landline @ 157pm today. Caller ID said NOT PROVIDED 888 882 1755. Same robotic female voice, same message as other posts. Guess they thought I was a little slow, message repeated 3&1/2 times. Like another post I was laughing! Also thinking if you fall for this one you deserve it. At least this scammer left a message instead of just silence. I felt SO SPECIAL when she called me "Dear customer". How can they leave a number with the message & not get their sorry butts in a sling? We use armed drones to get terrorist nests, seems like a good idea to use one on these pests nests...

Not only that but some of these scammers will "help" you to fix your computer. They'll remotely connect so you can "watch" them carry out the "fix"...then they get full control of your PC whether that's to download personal files, install a bot to turn your PC into a zombie or flat out lock it and ransom it!

Nobody will call to "fix" your computer remotely nor fix your license. Do not give these people any information, banking or otherwise, and report them to the FCC.

    God Bless.

Received same call just now, from 888-882-1755.  Recorded MSG regarding my computer license has expired.  Does not mention Windows or MAC, very generic.  Definite scam.

said my license is expired on my computer -  but rather strange I can type and send this message.  Maybe the license will expire later today which gives me enough time to take care of all the messages I receive on my phone and emails that inform me I owe money to countless people

Received the same info on my landline that license expired for my computer. Really interesting, as I don't even HAVE a computer! All I have is this prepaid TracFone with limited access! 😕 Hmmmm....! Smells like a scam to me!

Caller id shows Toll Free Call. Saying that your computer license is expiring & they can take over your computer & fix it for you. They are full on criminals/crooks/scammers etc. Don't let them take over your comuter. Don't answer this number. Also, don't answer this number either, 888-201-1573, the say they are computer techs & your computer has problems. It's a Windows maintenance scam.
