Got a call from 888-883-9301. Was on another call, so this went to my voicemail. They left me a voicemail saying they looked at my resume, but didn't say where they got it from. Said I was a good fit for the job, but didn't mention which job it was for either. I don't plan to call them up or entertain any of their calls ever again, looks like spam to me.

I received the recorded message from this phone number after posting my resume on Career Builder.
Since this was a recording and the company name was not supplied, I those not to call for additional information.  I figure that it is a scam, preying upon the unemployed.

i never applied to liberty national and i got a call form an automated service about a job .. when i finally was able to get through to talk to an opperator she asked my name and email address after that i asked where they had gotten my resume since i didnt reember allpying to a company named liberty national
i then asked what they were hiring for and she just told me that she couldnt answer that untill i finished giving her my information and got a call back from a manager then he would tell me what they were hiring for i then asked 1 more time why i would give my information to someone i didnt know from a company i didnt know anything about  .. she then thanked me for my time and hung up on me ..
sorry to say but dont get your hopes up on this its BS . they got my info from indeed.com the jobsearch site

Received call stating my resume has been received and our company is hiring and to call for an interview. Did not way what company and that sounded suspicious so I googled number and this came up. Glad I did not bother to call.

recoreded message claiming that they were sent my resume and wanted me to call them to schedule an interview. name of company not stated, nor was my resume sent out to anyone.

Received a recorded call from this company last night. Looked it up on the internet. I called company and asked many questions that were only answered with, "Would you like to set up an interview?". I did receive the company name and the name of the person I was talking to. When I asked "Joann" for the name of her immediate supervisor, "Joann" would not provide that info to me. I then stated that I was going to report this to the BBB and was hung up on. Scams-go figure! After reading statements of other people contacted by this number, I strongly advise others to forgo putting their e-mail and home adresses on online resumes. Shame on you Monster.com!!!!!

01/26/2011     Just recieved a call with NO name of Company stating im the one for the job.. BS ...Didnt return call and blocked number ..

I too got a call from this number and it is a recorded message stating I am the perfect candidate for the job and to call back to set up an interview appointment. They never said what company was calling nor did they even mention for what position they were hiring that I was so "perfect" for. It really upsets me that there are people out there preying on good people just trying to find a job! I too had submitted my resume onto monster.com and got this mysterious phone call.

I researched online resumes, any resume posted on the internet is open to all. The sites that we use frequently to search for jobs are responsible for this influx of scam job calls and e-mail job hits. Monster.com, CareerBuilders.com, snagajob.com, Indeed.com, just to name a few, have you post an online resume to "better" assist you with job searches and matches. This can be a great tool, if you do not enter your e-mail address to register for their services. When creating an online resume with these sites, do not include your e-mail account or your home phone/cell number. Please be aware that they can also do reverse directory of your home address posting to access your e-mail account and phone numbers.

I got a call from this #, same as all the above, but I didn't call.  If they REALLY wanted to speak to me, they would not leave an automated message- AND say what company it is that is interested in hiring me.  What a joke- just p's me off companies prey on people looking for a legit job.  Guess that is what I get for making my resume "public" on careerbuilder.  Super frustrating!!!!

This is crap i got a phone call to they said that they would like to have a interview didnt say there company name. so i called it an it was liberty national ive been unemeployed for 4months now got excited but i called it back an they say they were open 24/7 now they wont return my call i think its spam it a hocs i suggest for whoever recieves a phone call dont try calling it back i put in jobs at career builder, indeed,snag a job, and monster

got a call from this number too,  888-883-9301.  besides sounding like the robot taxi driver from Total Recall,  never gave a company name.  after seeing the posts here,  only solitified my decision to not call it back.

Got called from this number, but missed it.  Googled the number, and this discussion thread was the first search result.  Not gonna call them back now.  Thanks y'all, you probably saved me a ton of trouble

just got a call from this number stating the same things that are mention on this site. Wow, what is the world coming to if you have to watch every single step you take to find a job. Thanks to you all for the sharing of you experience for the safety of others!! Hats off to you!

Wow , just got this great opportunity on my answering machine. I am filing a complaint with BBB and also with the FBI under the Domestic Terrorism laws. The made me feel nervous about mine and my families well being. See what happens after that.
