    doesitmatter?
i recieved a call from a live caller, I just sit there I won't say anything. They ask hello a few times and hang up.
When I call the number back, it simply automates "goodbye" and hangs up.

I am furious and it is ridiculous that we pay for our services and they do NOTHING about it. C'mon with this.... we as customers should all file a class action suit to try and get them to comply with our demands.
I am sickened by this.. these phone carriers HAVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS!!!! WTF is your problems?

There was a pause after i answered.
CLEARLY reading from a script. Sounded like they were from an African country.

They said they were from something about Government Grants, responding to some web thing. They said they'd send a free information, they just needed to confirm a few things. I said, well, if you have my address, just mail it.

I asked What company what this? And they rattled off something, i didnt get to write it down. They rolled back into their speil.
They would send the free information, I'd just have to pay 2.95 for shipping.

I said I'm not giving out a credit card number over the phone.
    They hung up.

They called my cellphone so many times everyday. They stated they had Grants. Don't give out any information to them. It's bad news.

I had someone call from this number and it was hard to understand him, but he said he was from Your Grant Advisor.  When I said that I do not have any grants, he hung up on me.  I called the number back, got some music, then someone answered who said 'This is Eric from Your Grant Advisor' and I hung up.  I am not sure who this company is.
When I googled, I found the following:

I am tired of getting these calls.  I get them 3-4 x a week and I have not signed up for anything.  This one said the same thing as someone else stated above.  They had a government grant for me and were ready to send me my package I had ordered.  HMMMM, never ordered anything.  I asked where they got my name and number and was told I had signed up on the web, I said nope, had not done anything like that, I did not want to start a small business and to stop calling.  But you signed up and I said no take me off the list good-bye and I hung up.

I received a call from your grant advisor at 8:30pm from someone asking me have I applied for a grant. I said no to the person I was speaking to because I haven't applied for a grant. I asked, where did you get my information, but she didn't say. She wanted me to give her my credit card number so she can charge the shipping fee to it. I said to the lady, I don't give my credit card number to no one. She continued talking about how safe it is, but I wasn't going to fall for that scam. The number she called me from is 800-338-7537.

they call you with all different 1-800 numbers.  they have called 5 times in 2 days and keep changing the numbers.  it is your grant advisor.. they are a bunch of b u l l s h i t and will scam you of your money... i looked them up.. don't fall for them.  i told them that they need to stop calling and i know that they are fraud and i will report them to the f.t.a. and f.c.c if they kept on harassing.  they just called me 3 times in 5 minutes right now.. i told them that i guess you don't understand that i asked you to stop calling this is a business line.  if you tell them that.. they gotta stop calling you, that is illegal for them to call a business line and a cell phone.  they can get into big a s s trouble for that.

I did screw up and bought something from these people and they will not stop calling. I told them to cancel everything.

Last night a woman called, hard to tell accent - heavy static connection.  Started asking questions about if I have a mortgage that I pay each month?? So I asked where she got my number, what was she trying to find out, why she was calling me and what she is trying to sell me.  She said she got all the info she needed then hung up.  It was weird.

Called several times, identified themselves as "Your Grant Advisor." Explained that for $1.99 shipping they would send me a CD containing grant search software to help me identify grant funds I could apply for to help with starting a business, continuing education, etc., etc. This would also get me 10 days free access to their service. After that it was $39.95 a month, or I could cancel within the 10 days. Opted in in hopes I could use the software for a short period to help out some programs for which I volunteer. Now, I haven't been able to get through to the number to cancel PLUS I never received the promised software, but am getting charged. Need to find a way to get it stopped.

Caller was also extremely irritating. Obviously reading from a script, but would let me get a sentence finished before she started talking over the top of me. Made it difficult to confirm anything.

    I'll never do this again.
