Have been getting calls from 1-888-888-8888. They are some customer survey companies that are hired by companies to survey their customers for satisfaction. I dint attend their call. That stopped but being bombarded by 1-888-888-0003. Strange thing happened. I picked up and after a brief pause, a lady said "hello" as if she called a familiar person and when I said "hello" back, she hung up. Now, when I call that same number, it says " you have reached gary......... number. please dial 1 to talk to him or 2 to leave him a message" and can't seem to get any one on the phone.

Was receiving 888-888-8888 for the last 3 months. Only answered once & noone there.
Not picking up either again.  AT & T says nothing can be done.

Received calls yesterday and today from this number.  When I answered yesterday, the other person hung up without saying a word.  I missed the call today, but no voice mail left.  This is annoying!

My cell has been getting 888-888-8888 and now 888-888-0003 for over 2 weeks, twice a day.

Is this a wardialer or some reverse charge phone scam?

888-888-8888, 888-888-8000, and now 888-888-0003 about three or four times a day for a week.

I have been getting calls from 8888880003 and 8888888888 over 20 times in the past 3 days its pissing me off.  I called the 0003 number back and left a message saying that i would take legal action if they continued calling me, hopefully they stop.  8888 says "this number outside of service area" if you call back.  Seriously, I don't want to have to change my number.  This is ridiculous.

I received a call from this number and no one answered.   I have no idea who or why I received a call.   Just hang up on them.

Have continued receiving calls from this number (1-888-888-0003) for the past two (2) days on several occassions.  In order to avoid answering this call, I check the caller-ID to determine whether or not I wish to respond to incoming calls - I do not answer the call if I'm unaware of the particular caller.  This continues to be quite bothersome, as a result, will continue not to answer calls from this number.

Receiving calls daily from 1-888-888-0003 and no one is there.  This has been going on for over a month now.

I keep getting calls from 1-888-888-0003, 1-888-888-8000 and 1-888-888-8888.  0003 is a voice mailbox, which is now full, and i can never get a hold of the person.  8000 is some telecom company and the woman there told me that I called the wrong number, so I screamed at her and hung up.  I don't know what to do besides not answer, but I just want the calls to stop.

This is the 3rd time I've gotten the call in the past 3 days.  First two I let go to voicemail.  Finally got tired of it and answered today, there was silence then a hang up.  So annoyed

I hate these calls too. I too getting these weird numbers 1-888-888-0003, 1-888-888-8888 and I am tired of it so much. If anyone successfully stopped these calls, I would love to hear how they have stopped these annoying calls.

Getting phone calls and no one speaks at the other end.. Very annoying and going on for a while from both of these numbers. 1-888-888-0003, and 1-888-888-8888

How do you get these calls to stop?? I'm getting calls from -0003 number at least 3 times a day! Is this a scam?

Received a call from 0003 before lunch. I didn't pick it up. No message from them. It sounds like this is only the beginning of a serie of calls.

Seems I'm in the same boat as everyone here!  Started getting the calls on 6/3/2009, and have gotten a call every day since.  Like some others, I decided to try to call the number back, and got the mailbox full message, as well.  Twice I have answered, other times let it go to voice mail.  Both times I've answered, there was silence then a hang up.  When I let it go to voicemail, there is no message.  I can't find any information on this number except for these postings!  Mailbox says it belongs to some Gary Watchingson (sp?)  I want these calls to stop!  Is there anything we can do?

getting calls from the number twice a day for past week. they go to voicemail but hang up. i called back and got a messaging system for mci. are they even still around??

Same story as everyone else. Started receiving this call a few days ago. My old cell phone used to get calls about the "car warranty" being expired at least 2-3x a week, but this is a new number I've only had for a month.

First few times I let it go to voicemail, but I've answered twice and there is always silence. One time I hung up after repeated "Hello? HELLO!?" several times, and the other time they hung up as soon as I answered.
