Got a call from this number while I was at work and didn't pick up. Says its a debt collection agency that wants to settle for a lower amount. I don't owe anyone money but they did say my name. I am confused. Anyone with infor, I would love to hear about it.

I got the same call tonight. They left the same message. But I do owe people but decided thankfully to ignore the call since I have no money anyway to settle with. But I think by looking here that back in June I did get taken by another number claiming to be a Fraud Investigator and needed me to seattle this debt or they were takeng it to by county court. That number was 770-818-2346.

I called it was from allstate collections. They say i owed them money when i switched ins. companies.

same info as above; related to an insurance plan with encompass insurance that was changed 4 times by my agent.  apparently, some transactions was not closed by the agent, or something.  In any case, this has been going on for over a year.  I think it is time to hire a lawyer and bring them to court.

collection Agency for Farmers insurance. Were notified in 3 places and twice of my bankrupcy, called wanted to settle for lower amount. Still under "bankrupcy protection" if they call again we are going to court

Got a call yesterday, they left a message saying they wan to offer me a settlement amount on a debt I owe. I dont know what they are talking about.

Got the same call from the CCS (collection agency) 1-888-888-4010. They said they would settle the debt for a lower amount! It is AllState Car Insurance..I was with them for a long time and my contract was up and I stayed with AllState but switched agents and now they turned me over to this collection agency saying I owe them money and I don't. I am considering dropping AllState Insurance and going some where else. This is CRAZY!!!!!!!I wish they would leave me alone, I guess I could call the Better Business Bureau and report them for harrassment!

as state about, the same thing happen with Allstate. they turned me over for collection, for one month, when I did not have their service.Not after I had changes agent, they are sending me offer. Like I would go back to them. NO WAY. I went with AAA, save a boudle. they money that Allstate had been collecting for over 6 years.

I got a call from 18888884010 and i picked up and they said they were debt collectors. I freaked out and i continued listening on to the amount i owed. I got so nervous. SO i pretended i was  a detective and the person they just called has been deceased (me) so i told them they just called a crime seen and they are to stay on the phone. I got them to stay on the phone and i pretend that if they were to hang up there call is being traced and county officers are on there way to there location. Lol well it worked because the guys freaked out like i did. But yes i do owe them. not much but one day ill
decide to pay.

All State collections willing to settle at a reduced amount. I changed car insurance companies over a year and a half ago. They have called for a long time and then quit and then it just started back up again last month.

I got the same call from All State. They are telling me that I owe them money b/c I didn't cancel my insurance at the right time. Have spoken to All State and they have 2 different cancellation dates and neither match the date I cancelled All State. I also had my All State Rep call them and they had quit calling for about 3 months and now they are back at it again.

This time they are not leaving a web address like they did before. I have also been told by my All State Rep that All State has been doing this to anyone who cancelled their policy in the last 2 years as well as those who still have policies with them are not having their money withdrawn from their accounts on auto  withdrawal accounts and then are being sent to collections when it appears that it is All State who is delinquent and not the policy or ex-policy holder.

Hmmm, if this is Allstate, good luck collecting.  I left Allstate over two years ago, and according to them I did not cancel in a timely manner and owe them money - well it was PAID about three months after I cancelled.  No way am I going to pay again, two years after I paid it.  They can call all they want but I don't deal with third-party collectors; this balance, in particular, was paid DIRECTLY to Allstate, so I will contact them to call off their collector.

got a call tonight, didn't answer.  message says they want to settle for a reduced amount but did not give any name as to who for.  Allstate says I owe them for a month of insurance.  We moved out of state and notified the agent, also told them before the renewal date that we had a different ins company.  The agent failed to cancel the policies for a month after the renewal date even though he was told we would not be renewing with him.  He turned it over to CCS,  I put negative feedback on his adds and reported him to the state insurance bureau.  Like that is  going to do any good.

Just got a call at 3:05PM, didn't answer.  They left no message.  I did call back to verify the company name and it is CCS.
