I also got a phn call from this number and they where offering me 5,000 dollars I could borrow from them. They also didn't speak much english.

I got a call from this number and I could hardly understand what the person said so I ask for them to repeat what they had just said and she repeated it then in a really hateful voice she said "you got it" I told her she was rude and hung up on her.  Then she called back and told me that I was really rude and hung up on me,  the number she called from said unknown.  These people are scam artists and should be put into jail for saying they are an agency that is accociated with the court system.

If these people are threatening to have you arrested and harrasing you THIS IS ILLEGAL. There are laws against companies trying to collect debts from consumers in a threatening fashion. Read about consumer protection laws and filing a complaint on the Federal Trade Commission website. Also, if you can gather as much information about the company harrasing you, you can even file a complaint with your state attorney general's office. Try to contact the division of consumer affairs. Even if there is no outstanding debt you owe or they have the wrong number and you have informed them of such, it is still illegal for them to continue calling. If you do owe a debt you have the right to request they send you, through the mail, the original company you aquired the debt from, the date you aquired the date, and the original amount borrowed. They HAVE to respond within 30 days. If not, they are violating a law and you can report this. Please research what your rights are. Always, always, always, KNOW YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS! You are so rigt!.  I have to turn my phone off also. You never know if there is an emergency in the family, and these idiots call all times of the night. Stupid Heads!

I get calls from this number almost every day as well.  I have just stopped answering these calls.  I also will put my cell phone on "restricted" status so that these calls do not ring in, especially when I am at work or late at night at home.  I have registered with the "Do Not Call" listl, but they still manage to call me.  Is this illegal??  Was not sure how they got my number.
