    Sent a text to my phone from "KeyBank" stating is was urgent and to call NOW to 888-894-8867.  I don't use KeyBank and the identifying number on my text screen was 1410200501, not a real number

    Received a text saying my debit card had  been locked and to call this number to unlock it.  When I did, I was asked to give way more information than they should have needed, so I hung up, called my bank and was told my debit card was not locked.

    I was contacted as well. It is a scam. I contacted the bank and they are aware. Anyone who gets a message from Key (or any bank) should contact the bank before responding to any message.

    It’s definitely a scam. Ignore any other calls. Call your bank if you get messages that sre supposed to be from them. They will let you know if it was a message from them. Most likely it isn’t. (I called my bank and was told it’s sammers and to ignore it).
