This is a scam.  They claim to be from First Niagara Bank.  They called and put me directly on hold so I hung up.  I called back the number expecting to hear what company I called.  A woman picked up claiming to be from First Niagara.  I asked why she called and she said without knowing my account number or my social security number she could not tell me.  

I declined to give her my information, thankfully.  I called the real FN Bank and ask if they would ever do that.  They said they will never call you and ask for your information.  Why you might ask?... Because if they were to call you, they would already have your information and wouldnt have to ask.

The number does go to First Niagara Bank....it goes to a new division created to help customers.

i have also dealt with these customer service agents at 8888986020 and they were the best at helping me with my questions.   They called me about a promotion but once i said i have a problem or question they were more then happy to help me out.    They were great, instead of giving me a different number to call or transferring me around...or even worse try pushing a product on me that i didn't want...they switched gears and answered/solved all my issues/problems.    They are the best customer service people i have ever dealt with.

This number came in on my cell and I let it go to VM. Only no one left a voice mail. If it is FN Customer Service, why do they do a dis-service and not leave a message?

This call was from First Niagara calling me back about information I had requested and they did leave me a message to call them back at their customer service number. So far this has been one of the best credit card companies I have had a relationship with.
