Not much info yet.  Number might be "legit" but then again, it might be spoofed.  It is the people on the other end of the call that might be a problem.  If the caller ID shows nothing useful and there is no message left, I would be suspicious.

Got a call "restricted". Left voice mail that my wife has had a legal action filed against her. Only problem, I have no wife.

Received calls from "private number ".  a VM was left by a lady stating "I must call 1-888-900-3531 and a case # because a legal decision will be made regarding my situation if I don't respond." When I called back the same lady who left the msg answered the call. Then she transferred me to a guy who was aggressively trying to collect on an old debt I had over 10 years ago. He kept mentioning legal action if I don't settle.

I've been getting calls for a woman with a similar last name to mine.  Same as the other people have reported.  That there is debt and a court ruling and blah blah blah.  Always comes from an unknown number.  I'm going to assume this is a fraud attempt.

Allied Financial Solutions. Although a Legit business of debt collection they trick you into calling them back posing as "The Processors Office", located in your county (there not in your county they are actually from S.Cali and they are in no way involved in the court system) they try to intimidate you with a lawsuit to pay them debt.

I have been receiving calls from a unknown number attempting to reach my ex-husband. The caller provided the 888-900-3531 and case number to call which I did since I still have POA due to him being in the military. Of course they refused to give me any information, yet they call my phone weekly making threats to sue if they don't hear back from him ASAP.

Got a message on my answering machine from George Warren saying that he was calling for my cousin.  He never said which company he was with and when I checked the caller ID it said private.  He said he was calling about a legal action that he was taking and needed my cousin to call a toll free number and reference a file number or legal action would be taken without consent.  I thought it was pretty shady that he didn't say who he was working for or the company that is handling the file.  I felt like it may be a scam but sent all the info along to my cousin anyway.  Not sure if legit people/company.

Also, my cousin has never lived with me or shared my phone number so I do not know how they thought they had the right contact info.
