- a| 1 replyCaller called an old phone number stating that I had an account with Bank Of America and I should call to make a payment as I was 90 days over due. ......I don't have any credit cards at all, nor do I have an account at Bank of America. "Card Services" was the name stated when calling after hours and getting a recording.
- Caller: Card Services..
- Lamn replies to aI had caller claiming that my sister was on the lawsuit on Monday if she didn't pay $17,000 which she owned unless I sent them some money (a mount of $145), so they would not sue her.
I think those con artists use scared tatics to blackmail or to con people. Just beware that don't never give out your bank accounts, SS#, and credit cards. - MICHELLE8648444277
- SCAMSo, I'm really tired.. got an answering machine message that said it was Bank of America and my acct hadn't been paid since May 2007. I freaked out and called the number provided and this jerk right off the bat asked me for my social! I refused thank goodness (I'm pretty out of it but thankfully didn't do that) and they said they were looking for a person with my same name in the next state over (probably my ex-sister in law). I said I didn't know how to contact her but that I wasn't her. They said my account was okay and thanks. I called the number on the back of my credit card and it was indeed a scam. I just wanted to warn you guys that the scam really is real so you don't do anything you'll regret. (Hopefully you're all more awake than me though in the first place). I think I'll get a credit report or something.

- CJRAlso a call claiming to be "Bank of America" and saying something an opportunity I didn't want to pass up and how if I missed it, it could negatively affect my credit rating for the next 7-10 years. Clearly this didn't make sense - either it's an "opportunity" or it's a problem, it can't be both! Googled it and here I am. Definitely do not respond to this call.
- LoyalThere was a msg left on my brother's phone from (888)903-6262 and the woman's name was Latoya Ivory at B of A. She told my brother that she was trying to contact me and that I gave his number as a secondary contact. That was a flat out lie. He suggested that I Google the number. So I did and came up with this site. Thank you for all the comments.
- Caller: B of A
- Mandy| 2 repliesI keep getting this message at my place of work. I called it back the first time and told them not to call me at work. They continue to call claiming they are B of America and that I have an account there. Which I don't. How do I get them to stop?

- J. Smith| 1 replyThe company is Bank of America; and they are collecting a debt through card member services. I do owe them money and am currently hoping they can hold off on sending the account to collections. I gave them my social security and no other info, they knew it was me; so, it can't be a scam. They are very helpful if you are willing to payoff your debt. The gave me an option to reduce the total amount by up to 75%. I did not accept it since I plan on paying off everything --

- Daycare CenterHave gotten a call two times from a Mr West looking for one of our parents to have that parent call Mr West from Bank of America at 1-888-903-6262. Second time the man called I asked how he got this number as a contact for this person, I never did get the answer and he was rather rude, especially when I asked him to remove our number as a contact for this person. The parent was told of this call and said they had no dealing with Bank of America.

- TammyReceived a call from Vicki White on 1/14/10. She was supposed to call me back on 1/15. She didn't so I called her at ext# 22011 that she gave me. It was a fax#. She wanted my checking account number, etc. NOT!!!
Today I get a call from Emil Henry at ext#21126 and to call him as he will be in the office another 2 hrs. I called and office is closed.- Caller: Card Services??????
- CathyI received a voice mail message from Shirley Penrose, ext. 21141 (from this number) for someone I don't know. So as a courtesy, I returned the call let the caller know the person they called was not at this number... Big mistake; when I spoke with Shirley she indicated I was wrong (would not even hint SHE called the wrong number) and was otherwise guarded and nondisclosing. I was left with a very unpleasant (even vaguely threatening) 'feel' to the entire encounter.
- TheresaI just called this number back and was ready to raise hell after reading all the responses here. However, it was in fact for a Bank of America account I knew I owed. The man was very professional on the phone, and at no time did he ask for my ssn to identify the account, only my name and date of birth. He had on record several details about the exact account I was thinking of that verified for me it was not a scam. I would call just to be sure. At the very least, you can get off their call list if they're calling in error.

- XSTotal phishing scam. I called the number and even though this person had left me a message, somehow he "couldn't find my account information." First he said FAI Card Services, then BOA. Bank of America wouldn't ask for my SSI either. I wonder how many people fall victim to these people. The guy I talked to even told me two totally different names in one conversation!
- Caller: FAI Card Services
- RickyI received a call from this number looking for my mother..told the guy that this was my phone and that he had the wrong number..then he asked how long have I had this number? I said none of your phuqing business..and hung up on him!!
