i have received 3 calls they said i have a returned itemm from my bant to call or i wil be taken to my court in my area ...

Fake Scam Robocalls (multiple in a day) leaving actor-recorded voice mails with this number. They use threatening legal terminology trying to scare people into calling them back and giving them their personal information so they can STEAL YOUR MONEY OR IDENTITY. I am positive that I have NO actual business dealings with this company, yet they are harassing and soliciting me to call them back. DO NOT ENGAGE or give them ANY PERSONAL INFO - they are SCAMMERS. Please BEWARE!

Just received a call saying I had a bad debt with ACE Cash for $1000.00 from 2016 then 2013 and that is now up to $1400. But I could settle for half. Dates times and info didn’t add up. Plus I never borrowed money from ACE. They said they had routing numbers from my bank and the last four of my social but they couldn’t repeat them.

Tried to tell me I owed money from 10 plus years ago and wouldn’t give me any information.

Same thing was done to me!! Like literally an hour after you posted this apparently.

Received a similar call to those described by others.  It was a threat to be reported to 'the proper jurisdiction" and no names of companies, people, or jurisdictions mentioned.  No description of my alleged violation.

same as others.  fake call threatening to report to me to proper jurisdiction.  called in from 717-798-3704, call back number was the 888-915-9878 in hte voice mail.  no identification of who they actually are and what they actually need.

I received a phone call/voice message from phone number 888-915-9878 on 4/21/20.  The man (his voice was quite deep and rude), stated he with Rothman Klein Mediation my name was never stated on this message to me but that if I dont call them back, a warrant will be issued to the proper jurisdiction.  I did call the number back and it went to a answering machine or voice mail.  I then googled Rothman Klein Mediation and there is a website with the phone number,  I have no outstanding debt, and everything I read online says a letter would come before anyone contacts you IF you do have outstanding DEBT.  So like I told Rothman Klein Mediation, "I don't know what the he!! they are talking about."

NEVER Left my name. Claimed to be from Ross-Klien mediation firm about an investigation against me...and that I am uncooperative...SCAM

I just received the same call but the guy stated my name, last 4 digits of social and my street address but he stated the wrong county at first and then said I have until 2pm today to call the 888-915-9878 Ext 104 and ask for Jim McMillan? but called from another number. They also threatened to come to my job but said they are sure I’m not there because of covid  - I even got a file number but no bank that I may owe has contacted me and what I do owe in general is in collections on my credit report which I know that I owe and have the contact numbers. I was scared at first

Real process servers don't call in advance. And yes, if you had a returned check or other issue with them, your bank would contact you.

My family members have been receiving calls from 888 915 9878, asking about me and making threats to my family. This needs to STOP NOW!!! More need to be done to eliminate these people from harassing and threatening citizens. They are a bunch of scammers and disrespectful fools.... NEED TO STOP!!!! What can we do as consumers to stop these calls????

Calls every other day about be uncooperative in a legal mediation matter. That I have to return their phone the day of said message at this number so I can become cooperative and have the legal matters handles correctly before serving me at my workplace...but never my home address. Let alone its an actor/computer voice talking that seems to be scamming people. I've looked up the company that this computer guy says he is from and its not BBB accredited, and has more than 50 complaints a month about this company through the BBB about all the scams they are pulling.

The number was an Austin Texas that called but in the voice mail it was this 1-888-915-9878 number. Told me they were going to take legal action if I didn't call them back TODAY! Harassment scam call.

They left a threatening message saying that I on had a few days to respond. And they mentioned my last 4 of my social security number on the message.

Received call today 5/11 and left message for me to call 888-915-9878 stating this was my final call.  I have no outstanding debt so I googled the name Rothman Klein

I have received numerous phone calls from this company and finally spoke to a Jim McMillian today.  He was rude from the first minute of the conversation, insulting and degrading.  He had all of my personal information including social security number.  I tried to find out what the call was in reference to and he told me I had one hour to pay or he would turn me into the police and court system.  He said I committed fraud by signing documents but refused to elaborate.  He was very degrading with his words. He told me to act my age and he was doing me a favor.  Needless to say the conversation didn't go anywhere, he hung up on me after stating he was going to subpoena me and I would be sorry.  I told him to lose my number and not call to which he responded "I have all your personal information and will use it."

I got the same call yesterday and said i had to get in touch with them today which was yesterday or they would have to get in touch with jurisdication  to settle this didnt give there name or didnt know my name seems like a scam to me!!

I received s message (recorded) form this number 1-916-330-3797 but was tole to call 1-888-915-9878 Left a threatening message that it was a courtesy call but will result in severe consequences if I did not call them back! What a jok as I have no debts and not even a bank account! Definitely a scam to threaten people who are now in dire straits with unemployment and the Covid - 19 pandemic to extort money from innocent people. Blocked the call and ignore it. definitely a scam to get you to send a r Money order or worse yet, to get you to reveal you bank account number.
