- Bill Ronchi| 1 replyReceived a call from someone who identified himself from Verizon security who said there is activity going on your computer. He asked me to go into some sites which showed activity that had stopped and was still running. I entered a site on which was picking up my bookmarks and they showed my user names and passwords. I was told that $7800 was being taken from my account but he was able to syop it. These were Russian hackers. He connected me to the company with the aforementioned number. I talked to a guy who sold me a a device for cyber security for $1791.00. I gave him the check # and told him I would get the check out to him by the end of the week.
I mailed it well over a week ago to an address which happens to be a UPS store through reverse lookup. and it still hasn't been taken out of my account. When they initially called me I was wondering about what's going on and is this legit? No time to do research and now I am really wondering. A lady called me a couple days after the initial contact and I had to give her an ID# which was given to me. I thought it was probably legit but like I said now I am Wondering.- Caller: PC Resolutions LLC

- Tygerkat replies to Bill RonchiYou let them into your computer so now they have access to all the personal information you have on it. Take it to a local repair shop and tell them what happened.
Also, put a stop on the check you sent them and close the account it was drawn on so they aren't accessing funds from it. - Suzanne Rich| 1 replyI question whether this is a scam. They wanted $3828.00to fix my computer
- Caller: Technology Inc
