robotic call saying i have 24 hours have 4 serious allegations with my name.

Same as everyone else...IRS for starters.  Same threats, etc.  They called twice within two hours.  Later today I called them back.  First time a "foreign" voice said they were the IRS.  After asking more questions they hung up.  I called back three more times...they hung up right away.  Fifth time I called they said they were a loan company and asked if I wanted to get a loan (didn't know IRS loaned money).  Again after "chatting" with them they hung up.

Actually they will answer which is interesting.  You would think that number would have been shut down by now.  I called them 6 times and plan to call them a bunch more and harrass they hell out of them.  Sometimes they were the IRS other times they were a loan company.  Maybe if we all keep calling they will let us alone.  Let's harrass them like they harrass us.

The problem with calling these scammers back is they often spoof legitimate phone numbers and you end up harassing innocent people with your stunt.

SCAM

I just got this call, I reported it to the FTC... The IRS would NOT have a robo-call, and would not use the word "cops".  I just hope this call does not reach someone with early stage dementia.

I  just  received  a  call   from   these  low life  bottom  dwellers...they  have  tried  this  scam  many  times  before
with  alternate  telephone  numbers.   If   this  particular  "group"   has  even  a  high  school  education...I  will  be
amazed...THE  IRS  DOES  NOT  CALL  INDIVIDUALS  AT  THEIR  HOME...IF  THEY  HAVE  ANY  REASON  TO
CONTACT  YOU...THEY  WILL  DO  SO  BY  CERTIFIED  USPS  MAIL.   PLEASE  DO  NOT  FALL  FOR  THIS
TELEPHONE  SCAM....REPORT  THE  NUMBER(S)   TO  YOUR  STATE  ATTORNEY  GENERAL'S  OFFICE.

I thought these f#$@$ers had been thrown in jail by now. Guess not. The "cops will be called"? Real courts do not call them cops.

i got the same thing on voice mail.
