Supposedly this is the customer support helpline for the customer service team at google that monitors my email accounts and suspicious activity or requests for password resets. They provided the number in my email after notifying me that my PW had been reset. I did dial it but it said the user was busy. Which was a red flag that this email was a scam. Now I’m concerned they have my cell phone number, even tho no one answered.

this man called pete claywood sent me an email , he had reset my pass word and told me to call 1-888-926=7297

This is a phishing scam.

My sister got a similar email, called the  number and was scammed into spending $1,000 for IT security from Hornbill IT.
