I am so glad I checked this website because I was ready to call this number back. Fortunately I have gotten into the routine of checking on familiar numbers regardless of what it looks like.

Yes, got this scam call several times.  Listened to the message.  I never had a student loan, and I graduated in 1980.  Duh!

Definitely a scam got hung up on called back same person using different name 3 times I called back.

Just received a voicemail from this number- phone didn't even ring. Same person, same story, Josh Mather calling to tell me the Biden Administration was making changes to student loan forgiveness- that I was eligible but missed completing the forms and needed to call him TODAY.  Garbage call!

Received the same call and setup regarding my student loan. Seemed scammy, but I went through the routine. I gave them the info they wanted and they then said they would be sending me a text. The text came and they asked for the code. The code is real, btw, and is from the FSA because they are attempting to access your FSA file. If you give them that code, they will have access to your file with FSA because it is a security code to change your password. So DO NOT give them that code. Just FYI.

This number was listed as a call back number for a PayPal scam,. The email was legitimately from PayPal, and an invoice was submitted for payment against my account for a small arms purchase, claiming that the balance was due. I have subsequently removed all banking and credit card information from PayPal as it is apparent that is all too easy for a fraudster to submit an invoice for payment and then get entangled in a dispute resolution.
