- Annette Speight| 1 replyI have a certified case. They’re bringing the letter to my house to serve me. Told me to call the number 888-959-9068 and that my case number is 2018-40868. They couldn’t tell me the company where the letter is coming from. He said his name was Scott Green with United Carrier Service.
- Caller: It came up unknown number
- Kat replies to Annette SpeightYou don't have a certified case or any case at all! These scammers want to you think they're process servers and that if you don't call that number, you'll be served. Except real process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the opportunity to pay your way out of being served, which is what they'll tell you if you call that number. If you can, just block and ignore their calls.
- DesmondThey called me back in August from an unknown number and told me to call (443) 569-4035. I called them and they brought up a debt from my teens and said I was being server tomorrow. Waited and was never served anything at all.
Called again today with unknown number and told me to call 888-959-9068 with the same message. Called them back and basically told them off and they got mad and immediately hung up.
It’s a scam a process server will never call you before serving, they will just show up and serve you.- Caller: Unknown

- Annoymous| 3 repliesThis company called and threatened to take legal action against me with a matter that I didn’t understand. They were very threatening with legal action unless I pay a to resolve the issue. They threatened to garnish wages and take other properties. Felt like a scam and I was taken advantage of. I’m now disputing the charge on my card.

- BigA replies to Annoymous| 2 repliesIt felt like a scam yet you paid anyway? Could you please explain the reasoning behind that so that we can understand why these cons are so successful.
- Annoymous replies to BigA| 1 replyI’ve never experienced anything like this. They brought up a closed bank account from my early twenties and said it was overdraft. The account was never over drafted. He explained how things like this can happen and if I don’t take care of the penalities now then It will be reported to my credit, garnish wages and take my property. I was scared and he worked on my emotions. I never have delt with the court system. I didn’t understand, all I knew was he had some personal information. Like my past address and a old bank account that to my knowledge was always in good standing before I closed it. I was in a hurry to start a new job that day and didn’t have time to investigate further that day and he gave a time frame before the case is moved on and action taken. He threatened multiple times and so we made an agreement to pay in payments. They took the first payment off of a credit card. After the very fast transcation. He said I will receive a receipt in my email. After work I called family members and told them what happened. We are now speaking to family attorneys who deal with this kind of matter.
- BigA replies to AnnoymousAll of that is the exact reason you should have taken the time to look stuff up and ask of advice, especially since you have family attorneys. Regardless, I hope you have cancelled that credit card and disputed the charges. I also hope that you realize that you are now considered an easy mark and will start to receive lots more of these calls from this outfit and from whoever they sell your information to.
I would be helpful to everyone if you posted all the information you have on them such as company name, address, etc.
