- bjbJAXThe first person identified himself as being with Southwest Airlines in St. Augustine, and after speaking to me in badly broken English telling me I could win free airline tickets for visiting their newly opened office he passed me over to his "supervisor". I asked her why Southwest would be opening an office there, and she commented it was not an airline office but a travel office. I was asked to come to their office and give the about 1-1/2 hours of my time in exchange for 2 roundtrip tickets good for 1 year. I had intentionally led them on up to that point. I finally told the "supervisor" I did not want to go all the way to St. Augustine to visit a travel office, and she immediately hung up. I knew it was a scam from the beginning but wanted to see what they were trying to accomplish. I blocked the number...lol.
- LebowskiSomething about selling me explosives at a bulk discount.
- LulaReceived a call from a lady saying that she would like me to be their "guest speaker" for something that I could not understand in St. Augustine for only 1.5 hours in exchange of two roundtrip tickets anywhere in the US.

- Fed Up! Ki$$ my Grits! They called my cell phone which is on the DNC. We were expecting a long distance call, so I answered. They said it was Southwest Airlines. I told them to remove this number from the call base and I was not interested in their new scam. They hung up on me. This is not the first call, but it will be the last that I pick up the phone. Pure scam!
- Caller: Southwest Airlines
- JezCall unwanted and no one speaks when you say hello.
- ErinClaimed to be a rep from Southwest Airlines (the reason I answered) but was a garden variety scam artist with another “you’ve won a contest you never entered” spiel. Tried to argue with me about being a SWA employee (my husband is a current pilot) but once I shared that little tidbit he had nothing further to say and disconnected immediately.
- Caller: “Southwest Airlines” (fake)

- Brown GuyReceived a call from this number. The guy was speaking with an accent and in broken English. The guy seemed to be of oriental background. They identified themselves as calling from 'Way Point', and told me that I am invited for their new office grand opening and that I will get two tickets with all expenses paid for in exchange for attending a 2 hour session. Upon inquiry I was told that it was a vacation/tourism office/business. Seemed like they were reading from a script. When I declined politely, they became aggreasive and asked why I would not come. When I declined a couple of more times in a stern tone, I was told that they will call me back next week. I told them politely to never call me back and was told it was my loss in return. When I googled the phone number, I came to this page. Apparently they have been at it for a while lol.
Cheers to everyone else coming here.- Caller: Way Point

- CraigPerson at first said he was "from American Airlines and wanted to tell me about a new travel company they have." Transferred me to another person who wanted me and wife to listen to a 1 1/2 hour presentation just to get my opinion, and they would give 2 roundtrip tickets... Second person said he is representing Southwest Airlines...

I told them I was not interested and she asked me in a stunned voice “you don’t want to take advantage of this free offer?” I said no I don’t, she hung up!
