Threatening scam called from 833-734-2976

Our office just got a recorded call from this number.   Seems to be a scam call attempting to collect a debt.  Caller ID shows 833-734-2976.  Beware.

Received a call from a recorded message saying it’s Henry Ross, to call back.

They called me and left a message. And then somehow had the last four digits of my social security number. Told me do I understand that what I say can be used against me in the court of law. And then put me on hold for over a minute and never answered my question and asked me to verify my birthday and then put me on hold.! The phone number was used as 888-974-3407 watch out and they gave me a phony [***] case number 1248394 and the last four digits of my social wild ass [***]. And they say it's okay to use your information on your phone and save it to your phone but somehow some people steal it.

Why do you think your information was stolen from your phone & not simply found online?

Called my work phone number leaving a message in our general mailbox.  The message said "Henry Ross calling with matter regarding me and leaving a code xxxxxxx-xxxx with last 4 SS# of mine.  The message said regarding a client trying to locate someone.  I report to my IT work person that this is a scam and to block the number.  I never call any number back that I don't know, and I always google the number.  Thanks to other individuals putting comments about individual scam callers.  We all need to help out with these scam calls.

I like others have been contacted by Henry Ross: they used crazy case number along with my last four digits of my SS. I don’t call back these numbers. We have been warned about scams of this sort. It seems like they’re targeting senior citizens! I am reporting this call to FCC and the Attorney General’s offices

How would they know if you're a senior citizen or not? They're targeting anyone they can get to fall for their scam.

Claims he knew me and what call was about

Left message in my company's general voicemail box, identified as Henry Ross.  Same situation, he gave some account number that included the last 4 of my social and left threatening remarks about how he could find me.

Called my husband with some weird account number and the last 4 of my social, saying they were going to locate me unless I come forward, j should know what it’s about etc. sketchy but scam for sure

called from this number with a bogus case number and a rep called henry ross saying they're trying to locate me and that they'll call relatives after reading everything on here it's clear that this call is BOGUS

Called my mother's number leaving message stating there was a client of his looking for my location and he was not going to go into more deal tale. If.i don't call they will.porceessed to take the next step. They gave me fake case number and had the last 4 of my ss#!!

Same here. Henry Roth called my husband's # & said "we" have a mutual client that gave this # 2b contacted. Sorry he couldn't tell me more information about it but if I called back & gave Case # 1193598-(last 4 of SS#)
They used my Maiden name. I've been married 21 years. Also # it came from is 1-607-228-6072. I'm not calling back. SCAMMERS need more current info lol.

Henry Ross contacted me talking about a mutual client with my wife’s name and an Acct number with her last 4 called  from 8447342076 but requested I call back 888-974-3407

Called my number too with a recording about locating me and a file number, seems like a scam.

Saying I have a loan negligence and bounced check. And that they will file with county. Lol I do not even use checks it’s been over 7 years since I last used a check lol always saying they will serve me papers at my door. What a scam
