They say they are Loan Depot with a re-finance rate quote.

Can't seems to get these people to stop calling. They have over 20 numbers that I have blocked. They then just use a new number. I own my cars and home out right. What do they not get about me not needing a refinance? Harassment is rampart with this company!

This number, 888-983-3197, calls my cell phone no less than 6 times a day, every day.   I did not request these calls nor any information from this company and want them to STOP immediately.

The people who are calling you don't watch this message board.
And even if they did, what is there to associate your posting here with a phone call.
And please, don't make their jobs easier by posting your live phone number or email address.  
That only leaves you open to even more of the same type of spam call and emails.

I don't even hear my phone ring.  I simply look at my screen and it shows a missed call from this number.  Yesterday I received 8 calls and we're already at the third call this morning.  This is so annoying, I wished they would leave me along. I don't know how they get my number anyway, unless they retrieve it from sites where I've applied for employment, because that's the only time I use my number. Go away! Besides, if I were into buying anything do you really think I would give my business to someone who abuses the phone system. Respect my privacy

2 calls from this number today.. apparently they do not understand it is illegal to solicit to cell phones and can be fined $500 to $1500 each time theycall. EEspecially if you tell them that a) you no longer wish to receive a call from then and b) that is illegal to solicit to a cell phone. There are laws for things like this! We all need to find lawyers that will help press charges and also sue these solicitors. There are strength in numbers. If we were to all do this the calls would discontinue, thus making these people take note!

So. . . ?. . . exactly how does that law apply when called by foreign 3rd world criminal extortionists, using computers, high speed internet, voip, and a few dollars in caller ID equipment? Do you drop off the subpoena at Color's Sports Bar, in downtown Mumbai, 3rd barstool on the left?

Your scamming callers do not maintain this site or this web page. No callers can magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. Criminals who mass-dial and violate the Telemarketing Sales Rule have no plans to stop calling you no matter what you say and regardless of your DNC registrations. They need first to be sued or jailed.

Yes, but you have not understood what they say. Merely calling a mobile device does not render a sales call illegal. It matters if the calls are delivered by a recored or live voice. It matters if you gave your express consent to be called. TCPA plaintiffs often find it very difficult to prove the "knowing and willful" condition needed to make the $1500 treble damage count. I agree that too few Americans use the consumer laws they were given, but fewer still use them wisely.

They called 6 times in a 1 hour span & left repeated messages for us to call about a loan qualification for a house.
