888-983-4660

Not sure who calls me from (888) 983-4660 -- caller ID just says "800 Service". Now blocked

I've received two calls from this number. Calling the number gets you to a pre-recorded message saying something like, "If you received a call from this number, this is Market Link on behalf of Comcast, calling with some special offers". I waited a few seconds and as I was hanging up, it sounded like a Comcast customer service rep picked up and said, "Thank you for calling Comcast."

2 days prior to the calls, I had an online chat with Comcast, complaining about my service rates and how they've doubled since I started with Comcast. The last thing I said before ending the chat was, "I can't afford this, it looks like I'll have to cancel my service." I have a feeling that this call is in response to me saying I'd cancel.

I had the same problem with Comcast. The phone calls starts every morning between 8 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. every day except Sunday. I even sign up on the Do Not Call List. Why are they doing this?

if it was really a call from comcast it would not say 800 service  plus  Comcast calls themselves Xfinity now

many [unanswered] calls; they never leave message

This caller claimed to be the IRS. They said the IRS was suing me for tax fraud. I should call 313-429-5525 immediately. Of course I didn't because the IRS doesn't send robo calls. Looking for where and how to report.

Dirty filthy Indians calling with scams.  No wonder 7-11 is doing poorly in the marketplace.  Told the guy I have film of his mother doing camels.  Cant someone out an end to this nonsense?  Dont answer even if they call you twenty times a day and dont say "Yes" as that is a scam in and of itself
