    Additional Complaint Information

BBB's files contain a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging issues with sales practices related to the offer of low interest rate loans, lowered credit ratings despite the company's promotion that they can help consumers improve their credit, as well as difficulty in cancelling agreements.

Specifically, complainants contacting BBB regarding Helping America Group (HAG)and an
affiliated entity, 321 Loans, report that company representatives indicated they were offering loan funds in the amount of their total debt in order to pay off their unsecured debt, such as credit card debt, with the opportunity to pay back the loan funds at an interest rate lower than the rate they were currently paying.

Complainants further report that although the business drafts monthly loan payments from their bank accounts, they soon learn from creditors that their debt is not being paid, causing increased credit issues and a decline to their credit score.

When they contact the business to find out why their creditors haven't received payments, consumers are told that the loan they have secured is not meant to pay off their debt, but rather provides payment to third party companies for their debt reduction services. BBB has determined that the third party companies have the same principal owner as HAG and 321Loans.
Loan amounts identified in complaints have ranged from a few thousand dollars to more than $80,000 dollars.

The response generally given by HAG to complaints submitted to BBB is something similar to the following:

"Helping America Group ("HAG") does not refinance debt, consolidate debt, or provide a debt management or debt relief service. It does not collect money from its clients to pay their creditors and/or collectors. HAG earns its fees by validating and investigating the validity of the debt. Then, it works to get the debt dismissed or deemed legally uncollectible."

On February 26, 2016 BBB sent correspondence to HAG seeking the company's cooperation in addressing the pattern of complaints and steps that the company will implement to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints. BBB's report will be updated upon any response from the company.

As of March 28, 2016 BBB has not received any written response from HAG. BBB will continue to monitor complaints and update the review when necessary.

I read the review on the BBB after my conversation, and yes I was shocked at what I saw. I am not trying to defend them nor degrade there company. I just know that, not every company on the BBB with an A+ is legit and any company with an F is a scam. Will I go with there company, No. Is there product legit, I don't i never used there service. They do have very bad reviews, but at the same point I don't really ever see good reviews on companies listed on the BBB. Comcast case in point. lol. By the way, the name they went by was InstaHelp America, I was told the purchased Helping America.
