i got a call from this number today as a block caller id.  at first i thought it was from home and answered but then it was not.  so i hung up right away.  then a message was left on voicemail saying why i hung up and they could not leave confidential information in voicemail.  they said i or my attorney needs to call them back right away for legal actions will be taken upon me.  they threaten me that if i do not take care of the matter right away i will be embarrassed through legal matters at home or at work.  how can we get rid of these people.

I received a few messages with the exact same phone call from the same number. I had received a few calls about 6 months ago with a similar message and similar number. I finally called back today and told the guy (who sounded like he was from India)to go ahead and take legal action and not call me ever again! I see that it is happening quite a bit with the 901 numbers and they are trying to scam money out of people. The guy claims that his name is Billy Crawford and that he was from "Financial Crime Prevention".

i received another call from these people today but it showed as no caller id on my cell phone.  the same person james matthews left a voicemail saying that he cannot leave any confidential information and that i or my retained attorney needs to call him asap.  if i do not call him back he would take legal matters against me at work or at home.  i want these people to stop calling me.

Receive voicemail this morning from "James Matthews" (sounds like he's from India) threatening me with legal action like embarassment at my home and job if I didn't call him back "immediately". Called "James Matthews" back at 901-328-9334 and asked him to take me off the list or otherwise I'll file an FTC complaint against him (which I've already done anyway). I noticed the 901 area code is a TENNESSEE area code so I contacted the Tennessee Attorney General and completed an online complaint form against the number/person as well as the consumer complaint form on the FTC's website. This crap will stop one way or another. I will not be abused, intimidated or threatened (highly illegal anyway).

yes i have received several calls from these people again.  i saw the restricted call which i did not answer.  they left a voicemail with nothing on it.  it is annoying for them to call and i will not stand for it.  good for you anonymous for doing that.  i will do the same as well.

I got the same call and called him back.  I asked him if he had a few minutes to discuss the operations of  Nigerian Scandal.  He got really upset and said I had the wrong idea-- he suddenly lost all of his "confidence".  I told him MSNBC would be seeing him soon for more follow up and to have a great day!

I just got another call from Billy Crawford.  He tried to convince me that he was not a fraud.  He kept asking me if I knew what defimation of character is. I may not be able to spell it but I know what it is.  He kept telling me he was going to send my money back to me.  That he would be filling a law suit against me.  I don't think I need to worry.

I just received 13 calls from these people in about seven minutes.  They are driving me NUTS!

This is a scam going on so dnt make any payments. The indians are trained by an US person named ko re.They jst have a script which they read and jst collect money from you guys. They do hve ur personall informations but make sure u dnt pay cause this is a scam. They give u some non sense allegations which has no meaning for loans. SO kindly change the number or contact to the police department and this scam is going on in india.The indians are trained as if they dnt know the business.But after they knows they do the business and they earn in dollars which are converted in rupees. So hve a not of it.
