Received the call saying warranty on your vehicle is expiring

Received this call from 901-365-0903 on my work cell at 7:04 am PST which was waaaay too early for a Friday - a bit startling in fact.  Thought it might be my boss calling from overseas so I picked up.

A recorded male voice started rambling on about my vehicle warranty and I hung up on him directly.  Not sure what kid of scam they are running - the car is second-hand and 10 years old and not at all associated with my work cell number.

I checked online and saw this website, then tried calling the number back and as others have reported above a recorded female voice says the number is not in service.  I don't think it was a phone company recording, I think it is their outgoing voicemail greeting keeping us from calling them back.  IMHO definitely a scam - beware.

Just received a call on my wireless and went to VM. Something about an offer but the message was cutoff.

Warranty message.  Keeps calling every day or two.

Just received this call as well.  I let it go directly to voicemail and then did a google search for the number.  They did not leave a message on my voicemail.

Got a call on my mobile phone from that number, but didn't answer it because it was out of my area, I didn't recognize the number and I watch my daytime minutes.  

Because I've already gotten a scam call very recently, I came here and looked up the recently received call.  Sure enough, another scam call identified.  

My phone allows blocking and I'm blocking that number and notifying the phone company.  I'm also filing a complaint with the FCC and suggest everyone else do the same.  Only when numereous complaints are received will they do anything.

i received that call, but i didn't pick up.  So it only happens to ATT cell phones?

Filed complaint against the number.

Missed a call from this number, same as everyone else when called back, told the number is out of service.  Too bad that people want to waste your minutes on this sort of thing.

Friday, 6/6, noon. Got one from this number. Didn't pick up, Googled it right away and got this site. So, it makes you wonder, how do these bozos get your number? Anyway, thank god I'm always cautious about answering numbers I don't recognize.

Called from 9013650903, didn't pick up.  Called it back and tells me it is not in service

Just got a call from this number. Clearly, this number is being used by a scammer and all our numbers are probably on some list somewhere that's probably very old or created randomly. It probably won't be in use/hijacked for a while.

And to answer the question some people are having, it does not target ATT phones. I use Sprint.

I didn't answer for two reasons: 1) if I don't know the number, I don't answer anyway, and 2) I've been getting a lot of calls these last few days because some idiot put my cell number on signs north of here trying to sell his 100+ acre plot of land with a nice house on it. He's probably sitting by his phone wondering why nobody's calling (assuming he hasn't realized his error yet)... I hear it's really beautiful.

WTF?  I have Caller ID & had a FEELING this would be a BOGUS F**ckn call.....Glad I decided NOT to waste my time to answer it....But I'd take the TIME to let other people KNOW about it. :)

Got a call from this number 1:50pm MST.  No answer.

Just got the call minutes ago. Like everyone else here I screen unknown calls since it was to my mobile number which only a handful of people have the number for.

Received the call in denver at 1:57 on my Verizon cell phone. Did not pick up.

Received a call from this number.  I answered but nobody replied on the line.

I received a call from this number at 1:17pm, in San Francisco, CA, on my AT&T cellular phone.

Same as above. Looked online and found all these comments.
