Said he's calling from Comcast, and that my $39.99 internet is about to roll over to $80 (???) -- it never goes that high after the initial offer, AND my $39.,99 is a 2 year deal, that's is nowhere close to "rolling over'. Just FYI -- you can call your Internet Service Provider to try and lower your price, but the ISP itself will NEVER call an existing customer, offering them a chance to pay less for the service they already purchased.

I recieved a call at 9:00pm on a weekday from someone from a unknown number asking for me if I was so and so and they were from Comcast calling about my benefits that had just came up and had a few questions they wanted to ask me.I said to this person if your calling from Comcast it would say it on my caller id because everytime they call it says Comcast/Xfinity on id and secondly your calling from a unknown number.My husband is right there by my side as I had this dumb person on speaker and my husband knew right away was someone trying to scam me but I was to interested in seeing how far this scammer woukd go with me and he wanted me to hangup but I didn't at first.I told the girl if you were really Comcast you wouldn't be calling my house from a unknown number and after bussiness hours on a weekday.The girl implied sorry to inconvenience yiu ma'am but I just like to ask you questions refarding your service and account vecause your benefits were picked up since your a loyal customer for so long with us.I said your a fraud and a fake and I am not buying what your selling and will report and block this number as I said that she tells me go ahead you dumb lady I am a real Comcast worker.

I think the 1:33 seconds I was on call with this fruad of a Comcast person tried to get me.I hope not!I should of LISTENED to my husband and hung up after the first 15 seconds.The number when you call it says Comcast but I checked with a actual Comcast employee supervisor and that is a fake person posing as a Comcast worker with all the bells and whistles to make you think it's a actual one.Thank god I didn't give them any personal info other than making the mistakes of letting them talk that long and agreeing my namevwas who they said they were asking for.

a lady just called me from that number and I instantly hung up and came here to see if it was a fraud and for sure it was.

They called today but I didn't answer. Just wanted to mention re: an above comment, that I once answered one of these calls from Comcast and they legit wanted to offer me a lower price. I said OK and sure enough my bill went down the next month. Just be cautious, of course.

I’ve had SO many scam and telemarketing calls in the last 7 years or so that I mistakenly assumed this caller was just another one.  I did not answer, but decided to call the number back and got an automated system that states I was calling Comcast Telesales; then gave me a number of choices in how to route my call, at which point I hung up.
So, although the call is apparently legit, it’s still unwanted because they never offer to reduce your bill, only sell you more services so they can make more money and you spend yours foolishly.

Push called wanted to talk and have me say yes. Get out and get a job instead of working for some scammers

I just got a call from this number asking about the streampix benefits and wondering if I wanted to upgrade. She wanted me to confirm my email but the number was unknown so I kinda already knew that would be a bad choice. Good thing i came here and saw all of this.

Called me I tried their free trial on a roku, it has yet to work, only get "connection error, please try again" after the trial is over you have to opt in to get it and be charged, heck it doesn't work, never has, so why would I want to start paying for a non functioning app., on my android device I have mob - dro and its free and it works.

these freakn idiots call 3-4 times a day, and no reputable company would call all day and not once leave a message, plz go find your life, i dont want whatever you are selling, screw your cable, if i wanted to look at tv, buffalo wild wings has plenty GTFOH
