i receive a call  from cash america phone#1-904-290-3392 on 6-17-2014 saying i had been a approve for a loan , i never apply for,i was told it will be send out western union
they have me ,my correct   addess.
but said they could not give me the last for numbers of my #ss or last 4 numbers of my crive license even thou they said they had it on had,

Got a message from Indian accent that says I was preapproved for a loan I never applied for. I called back and got voice mail. What's the next step?

am writing to let you know someone called me saying that i applied for a cash loan ,only line i do nothing on line period

The only information they give me was my P.o box address   number which correct

which i did not

i was  told they had my ss# and as well calif .I.d

they would not  repeat it to me not even the last 2 numbers on either  they said it had to do with private or something.

the only information they give me was the amount of $2,500.

and they said it would be wire to someone that claim to be me.  this week( to day=7-1-2014)

in the  midst  i ask them cancel , the approve loan they refuse

He mention something  about  i had to called BBB to prove it  was and is fraud  

which i know BBB have thing to do with this .

When i insist i did apply for the loan that He said was already approve and ready to wired out.

i insist i did  not and cancel , i do not recall,but He mention to send them a money voucher ,

and that the only way they would cancel it

Said I was approved for a $10,000 loan that I did not apply for. Also wanted me to wire $350 via Western Union to cancel loan. LOL What a joke! India accent with lots of telemarketers in the background. He claimed the money had been sent, but gave me the wrong address.

Received a voicemail at my work number from a man with a heavy Indian accent stating his name as "Steven Williams" (he had a hard time pronouncing "Steven") from Cash America, I had been approved for the $10K loan I had applied for, and to call him back at (904) 290-3392. Lots of background noise.

This is completely fraudulent activity - I never applied for a loan and never would have given my direct number at work.

I got a call from this number saying they had received an application from me (said my name) for a loan and for details for this I should call back.  There was a lot of noise in the background and the caller was heavily accented (Indian).  I never applied for any loan.

Received yet another call from this Cash America and person identifying himself as Steven Williams. Advised him no one has applied for a loan and to remove this number, which is a place of business, from his company database.

Received a voicemail on Jul-17 from a supposed representative at Cash America stating a loan application has been submitted under my name and has been approved for "up to $10,000".  He left his contact info but the accent was so strong that I could not make out his first name, only the call back number of 904-290-3392 at extension 507.  

Typical scare tactic, I'd imagine if I called back that he would offer to "help" for a one-time fee.  Filing a complaint with the FTC now.  

I been scammed ot of 3000 from these people said I was approved for 10 K I was really needing money and knowing Cash America was world wide i was stupid anyway IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE HANG UP

2.    No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
3.    On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
4.    Advance fees for loans are always illegal.    At  least in   most    American states.
5.    If   you want to borrow money,   go to an established brick and mortar   lender that has been around awhile.
6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community. Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

Cash America called and I was approved for a loan. Heavy Indian accent with a lot of noise in the background; also when called the number back it went immediately to voice mail stating this is Attorney Alex!!!!

My 16 year old daughter got a call from them today, saying they were calling to confirm her loan for $10,000.  REALLY?  I got on the phone and then he wanted $50 to cancel the loan, then it went up to $250 (Indian salesperson, said he was from CASH AMERICA)  I called the police and he confirmed it was a scam.

Caller stated that I had been approved for a $10,000.00 loan that was submitted over the internet. (Which I had never applied for.) Then stated to cancel the loan, that I would have to pay $250.00.  Can you say SCAM!!!!

Scam - YES and also illegal to have to pay in order to get a loan!!

They tried to get me to send 256$ for a 6000$ loan

Please STOP this harassment. They are rude. The will not stop calling no matter how many times I repeatedly tell them too.
