I just received a call from this number offering a free vacation, worth $2600, if I would just answer a few questions and give them a credit card number.  I am not handing my credit card number to anyone who cold calls me.  I assume this is a scam, so I blocked the number.

I just did too. They hung up on me though.

This is definitely a scam as you figured out. I got a call from this phone number today, but I've received other calls that use the same 904 area code. This is an area code for northern Florida, however, scammers can spoof any number they want. I guess they think that if someone looks up the area code, they're more likely to believe the scam, since Florida is a top destination for vacationers. I'm grateful for sites like 800Notes and the people who take the time to add their warnings here. Wish the authorities could catch these crooks, but I guess it's too overwhelming of a problem. Phone companies aren't going to lift a finger to stop these calls either, since they are making a lot of money from their frustrated customers who order and pay for additional call blocking and caller ID services. Then there are the companies that are making money off their call blocking devices.

Also got a call from this number.  First time calling here.  I give them two tries, if they don't leave a message or just hangup they get blocked...

I did not answer and they left no message. 9:15 am, today.

called my cell phone and i didn't answer because i didn't know the number. thanks for people commenting i know it was a scam.

This number woke my family up last night, left no message on the answering machine.

Called my cell phone.  Don't know how they got that number because I DON'T give it out to ANYONE except family. I didn't answer because I only answer numbers that I have programmed into my phone.  They also didn't leave a message.

Just received a call did not answer and they did not leave a message.  Next time they call will be blocked.

This number just called me. Didn't answer. No voice mails. Another website said that this number is a spoofed number. Blocked and reported to DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.

Just received a call from that number too, 904-300-2567. Most times I do not answer callers or numbers unknown to me.
Sometimes, when I feel in the mood to "boggle their minds", I'll answer. I can pretend to talk with an accent and have them repeat everything over and over, or ask them if they are Jake from State Farm and ask what are they wearing, Jake from State Farm, or sometimes I answer the phone with  Statesville Prison, what is the nature of your call? They hang up and I have a laugh.

I just received a call from them and decided to check it out on line.  Glad I did!  I'm going to block it, too.  Thanks to people like you who take the time to put your comments on a site like this.  Thank-you so much!  I'm sick of these calls, too.

Just called me too, glad I thought to look up the number! I suggest everyone block the number if they call you just in case.

Answered a call from this phone number from the Jacksonville area code and it started an automatic recorded message about winning a 5 day 4 night vacation trip as soon as a connection was made. Listened just long enough to get the jest of their scam before hanging up on the scum bags. Don't waste your time, its obviously a call from a telemarketing spammer.

Don't give these idiots any information...better yet don't answer.
