Received call from this number I called it back. They have a lawsuit against me for a loan from almost 6 years ago. Didn't have a loan 6 yrs ago. And the loan company is one I've never heard of. Going to serve papers on me at my place of work. I told them to go ahead. They wanted 456.00 to settle this matter out of court. Not gonna happen today. Scam caller.

Got a call from them on 2/24.  Stating I owed money from a 2011 payday loan and gave my current address as the address on the paperwork.  I didn't live at this address in 2011 and didn't have a payday loan.  I've requested they send me documentation to prove the loan.  They told me they couldn't,

Mr. Synder said that he would have someone to serve me for a payday loan.  The told me that they would garnish my wages and I need to appear in court.  When I told him that my identity had been stolen.  He hung up.  Just rude!

I rec'd this call then immediately before I rec'v a call from "unknown" and they leave a pre-recorded message.  "Patrick Taylor" says he has paperwork to deliver.  I get these calls CONSTANTLY.  The other day I called them back, she asked to validate my ss#, uh no I don't think so.  I said look, just send whoever you are planning to send already.  I'm here - do it already!

Just got a call on my cell.   No message left.    Um, don't think so.    Such a stupid way of scamming.    At least get the "rules" right.  They aren't going to call and tell you they are serving you, etc. etc.          What a bunch of @$$#0!$
BLOCKED..........BYE BYE!!!!     At least I won't have to listen to my phone ring when you ignorants call.

Jerk called and left message regarding my needing to update my address so they can get paperwork out to me. Kiss it [***]! Go scam someone lowlife pos!

Received a call from this # out of Jacksonville FL.  Returned called.  Gentleman said he was with debt mediation and that they had tried to delivery a package to my street address but I wasn't home.  He stated they were legal document from a loan.  Told him 3 times to deliver them to the local sherriff's office.  Then called the Sherriff's Office.

I just received another call from this number.  A Mr. Bruce Wilkins answered the phone (I called on Monday to find out what they are looking for) and was told that all information was at the Court House, and no other information was available to me concerning the issue I was called on.  I tried to ask questions, but was consistently interrupted because he would not let me get a word in edge wise.  Hence, I felt the need, after I was hung up on, to call back, and ask all sorts of questions.  He doesn't care for me, especially with the verbiage that was used toward me.  I was hung up on, and called back...he is fully aware who I am, and that I will not tolerate his threats, scams or bullying.  I will be honored to see him in court.  And, if anyone else gets called by him, ask him to speak slowly and clearly, this really rattles his cage.

I requested that the email me these supposed documents.  All I received was an emailed letter from Debt Mediation Services.  A Sandy Haake sent it but without back-up documents.  Have you received such letter?

A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed - US Mail ... not emailed or texted]

Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via Green Dot, MoneyGram, Western Union, prepaid gift card or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.

Called stating I had a package that needed to be delivered and I needed to update my address and personal info. Not!

same wanted me to verify my address so a package could be delivered. I'm sure it's the same b.s. as always. blocked the number.

This person keeps harassing

This number called my work cell twice today with the same BS about a shipment containing personal documents. I just blocked the number. I wish I had the time to call and harass them back...

I received this same email. I received a call a few months back and when I told them I will let my lawyer handle it they hung up. They refuse to send me any information regarding the claim.
