Have called repeatedly asking for the owner of the business, only would say they were a "Security Company"  Kept DEMANDING his cell phone number, and when I finally gave it to them, they couldn't get the owner, so they kept calling back and when I answered, they would hang up.  Extremely irritating and annoying during the business day, when the phones are busy enough with legitimate calls!!  Wish I hadn't caved in and given his cell phone number, but they will be sorry if they ever get him on the phone!!!

The jerk was given my cell number accidentally (he asked for it and they gave it to him for which they have been reprimanded) then proceeded to ask my employee for her cell number so he could call her this weekend to see what she was doing. Because of the intrusion of a nuisance call, some rodents escaped while having the cage cleaned and had to be tracked down and captured. Took about 45 minutes. We have a pet shop. On my cell phone, I was in the middle of something quite important and dropped all the papers and items that i had in my hands to answer the stupid phone for something I neither requested or wanted. These people act like they've known you all your life and figure you should be their best buddy and talk to them. He asked for me by name. Got news for them. When I found out what it was all about. I said "YOU'RE A TELEMARKETER!!!" And hung up the phone. As of right now, they have not called back

I answer the phones all day long.  This person said he was John Howard and was calling for my boss.  I said my boss was not in, but you can leave a voicemail, which this person then replied "can I have his cell number, I really need to talk to him."  Of course, I never give out cell numbers.  I knew right then that this was a telemarketing call b/c I get them several times a day and I pretty much know the "tricks of their trade."  Anyway, this John Howard kept going on and on, so I just stopped him short and transferred him to my boss' voicemail.  This guy had the nerve to call back SIX MORE TIMES in a row before giving up.  I have caller ID and when he called back, I had two fellow employees answer the phone to see if they got the same run around, which they did.  This "Security Center" person called from three different lines:  904-725-6047, 904-725-6051, and 904-725-6071.  BEWARE for a real aggravating conversation if you get a call from any of these numbers!

I have also received calls from this "John Howard". He says pretty much the same phrases as you have all reported.  Just wanted to share that he also called from this number:  904-727-0941

This lady "sarah" has been calling both of my businesses constantly for weeks and asks for my name and cell number and noone has ever given my information so one day she randomly decided to ask for "jason" so I played along and said he wasn't in and to leave a msg. A few hours later "sarah" called my other business asking for "jason" again.  I said I didn't know who Jason was she had the wrong number.  Its is some kind of big scam because the first time she said she was calling in regard to "the owner's" personal house security system. Obviously if the owner had an account she would know their name. And the second time she said she was calling on behalf of herself and couldn't leave any info until i gave her info. Sorry lady but my employees and  I are trained well to not respond to [***]'s like you.

This company called today from the 904-727-5089 number, real pain in the a*se!!! They said they were SC Equipment. Kept asking for owner's cell phone number about some important paperwork that cannot be processed because the owner had completed it incorrectly, made it soundlike a matter of life and death. I asked what sort of equipment and he said he din't now andcould only speak with the owner. Said he could leave a name and number but he wouldn't told him to go away and stated that  was the joint owner. Really pushy, really rude, will certainly look out for him on caller ID - quite looking forward to round 2!!!!
