Very annoying.  I make a contact on my phone called "Do Not Pickup" and add all these unknown numbers to it.

Keeps calling non stop

Tracked # It's the police

Collection agency calling the wrong number.

Collections for Rodgers account ...I have never had an account with Rodgers.

Metropolitan Credit on behalf of Rogers. Apparently Rogers thought it would be ok to attempt to contact me 6yrs after I had paid my final bill with them. Now they are trying to say I owe $1300 and I'm like for what and they couldn't tell me. I informed them all future dealings shall be done by mail, this stops the calls and I also told him to tell Rogers I would be contacting the CRTC regarding this and forwarding all my documents to show the account was paid in full upon its closure.

ITS A CONPLETE SCAM!!!

These same people, Mac Credit, calling on behalf of Rogers, is a complete SCAM!!!! They call everyday, multiple times a day, and despite having blocked the numbers, they just change and call from different ones! These are their numbers that have called, and been blocked, on my landline:

It is a SCAM! They ask for your credit information, as well as Social Insurance Number, and other personal info that YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER GIVE ANYONE OVER THE PHONE!!!!!!!

Protect yourself and block these numbers! The calls come as early as 6am sometimes, and go until after midnight! Getting 5-8 calls a day for the same thing is harassment!!! I have tried reporting them, but always get the same "we know and there isn't anything we can do".. Um.. Shut down the phone line when you get multiple complaints maybe??

An elderly friend of my parents was taken by this scam. She provided her personal information and they nearly cleaned her out and killed her credit in a matter of hours!!!! Never give anyone your info over the phone!!

Neither Rogers nor anyone you have personal dealings with will ask you to provide any of this information over the phone! Always call the company directly to determine whether a call is fake if you do have personal dealings with them! They won't call you like this!!! Even if you do have an account in bad standing, you'll receive paper notices long before any calls start! If you haven't received anything, you don't have a problem!!!

Metropolitan Credit. Debt collector for Rogers.  Called Rogers and had Rogers call them - just in case they are not legit i.e. fishing scam.

What a waste of time.  I always answer. I confirm who I am and they say that it is not me and that they cannot disclose. Or they are okay but the call drops.  Get some working equipment!!!!!!  Oh yeah, this is Rogers,  Nothing works!!!!!!!!

They call, when you answer they don't say anything, if you block that number they get another number and call, call, call

MetCredit, these people buy old phone number lists of old debts that don't exist anymore, Collection agents in Ontario can't just start calling you. Before they call, they are required to send you a letter by mail or email. Contact FCAC, financial consumer agency of canada, file a complaint:
